Are you sick and tired of having to file a federal income tax report every year? Would you welcome a "pay as you spend federal tax system" with a monthly tax refund? No one should have their assets seized or go to jail for a victimless crime. Income taxes and property taxes were originally understood as very small taxes, but if you give any government power to do anything, they will do more of it to increase their size, power, and control. We need a voluntary taxation system, as well as tariffs on imported products, to sustain government services at all levels. And we need to transfer services out of the government's hands if possible. There's no example of a government monopoly doing anything more efficiently than a competitive market.
