Think restrooms are just for quick bathroom breaks? 🚽 Think again! On World Toilet Day (19 Nov), the Restroom Association (Singapore) hosted the LOO Awards 2024 to celebrate the outstanding efforts of individuals and organisations in keeping our public restrooms clean, hygienic, and welcoming. 🚻 At the event, some cleaners and premises owners shared amusing stories—for example, some individuals asking to study and even eat in restrooms! This just goes to show how much we all value a clean, comfortable space. In my speech, I emphasised the importance of adopting innovative, tech-driven solutions to elevate the restroom experience. I was inspired by the eco-friendly devices in action during the booth tour, and I hope more establishments will embrace these technologies to boost hygiene and sustainability.
