10 Years of Korean Promotion | Learning for Education Marketing
The beginning of 10th year of our uninterrupted engagement with Korean Cultural Centre India, the press attaché of The Embassy of Republic of Korea in India, starts with an over-packed schedule of events. New Delhi Korean Film Festival 2024, Rang De Korea, All India K-Pop Contest, Korea Industry Expo are some of the very recently concluded or on-going events at the moment. Brannia is proud to have been associated with the promotion of brand Korea in India for a decade now.
We have also executed multiple campaigns for Ed-Tech, Online Courses and University regular programmes. Both of these marketing sets appear to be mutually exclusive in nature. They are poles apart in approach and results despite the almost same set of TG that they are addressing. The youth who is searching for a college admission is kind of a super set of Korean followers in India.
Korea in India has a very strong brand affinity which leads to effective PULL marketing campaigns at extremely economical costs. In contrast most of the Ed-Tech campaigns have been bleeding money because of their hard PUSH on sales. In this PULL & PUSH contrast, one of the differentiator is approach towards user engagement.
I was recently having a discussion with a client in the Online Courses space. Their strategy focuses a lot on digital Ad budgets. You keep on pumping money to keep lifting your sales. You take a deep breath, your results will take a deep dive. Is it a sustainable model? Can’t we have any effective model in the Ed-Tech world too with engagement first approach, which can then softly pull the buyers towards enrollment in various programmes? Perhaps this is a side effect of Digital Marketing drifting away from marketing under the pressure of Sales & ROI.
I request your thoughts please…
