When you pulled up and when you were meeting with a grand puba of the KKK and you pulled up and you know, and he's it's night time and you're it's, it's almost like a scene from a movie that doesn't end well, right? And and and he's flashing his headlights at you. I was praying to the vendor Guadalupe, that you would be OK, right? I was like so terrified for you. Again, that's, that's courage. That's that's not fearlessness to me, that's courage, right? Or am I wrong? Again, I wanna I, you know, the thing that I always thought that week, first of all, there's two things happening. It was also a guy who needed a job. So like, so there's a part of me was like the courage of like, I need to feed my family. Hey. And this is my best shot. So yeah, you know, there, I don't have a lot of opportunity, so I gotta make the most of this opportunity, even if it's a crazy idea. And then the other thing I thought, and we and I actually said this in the episode that like it's kind of an immense privilege to be a black man who goes to visit the clan. And mostly knows he's going to be OK Now, sure, anything could have happened, yeah, but generally? The I'm going to visit, I'm a tourist with the KKK for a couple days. I'm not a black guy in 1960 who got jumped by the KKK and pulled to the and pulled into the forest and saw a burning cross.
