When determined minds come together, the outcome is beyond imaginable! Collaboration and teamwork were at the core of this internship. Being able to understand exactly how the community and medical research field intersect through research projects was truly inspiring! Unlike traditional research internships, BPT truly emphasizes individualized growth, allowing for students to grow their scientific skills by working on projects that they are interested in without feeling obligated to one task or another! Yes, I would recommend this internship to others! BPT's emphasis on collaboration and inclusion of diversity truly brings you more than the traditional scientific skills one would hope to gain! AI and medicine have plenty potential
Looking back on my research internship with OxBright I realise the impact this experience has had on me in developing my communication, group work and time management skills. Throughout the month, I was virtually guided by a professional in the field to produce a paper with my group members about the cutting edge topic of AI in medicine. I not only expanded my knowledge on the topic, but I also got to work with like-minded students from around the world and broaden my network. This was a great experience and I highly recommend taking a look at the courses and internships OxBright offers for students here: https://lnkd.in/etqYGX67 (Use this link for a discount!)
