Every elected official I know talks about the need for additional affordable housing in their community. There are many challenges adding to the shortage of affordable housing. One is the lack of developers who have the heart and training to contribute. So, programs like the Developers Capacity Building Program are essential. Thank you to my team for excellent execution of the program, Guilford County Commissioners for funding the program, all of our facilitators and stakeholders who provided the subject matter content and especially the class participants for making a decision to commit their careers to making life better for others.
