National Tourism Organisation of Montenegro’s Post

At the 108th General Assembly of the European Travel Commission (ETC) held today in Luxembourg, the Director of the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro, PhD Ana Tripković Marković, was elected Vice President of ETC with 20 out of 25 votes from member states. PhD Ana Tripkovic Markovic addressed the representatives of ETC member states, emphasizing the key role of the ETC in promoting and developing tourism, especially for countries like Montenegro. “The election of a new ETC Vice President, for the first time coming from Montenegro, represents an important step forward for our country, confirming its growing influence in European tourism and European institutions. My three-year mandate opens the door to more intensive promotion of sustainable tourism and regional initiatives within the ETC, further strengthening Montenegro's position as a reliable and active partner in the development of the European tourism sector. During my tenure as ETC Vice President, I will strive to ensure that the unique potentials and challenges of each country are successfully integrated into the broader European tourism framework, for the benefit of all members,” said Dr. Tripković Marković. The President of the European Travel Commission, Miguel Sanz, welcomed the Director of the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro, PhD Ana Tripković Marković, to the ETC Presidency.
