Following last month's event with Arts Alliance, i.e. Art: The Source of Growth Panel Discussion, we are thrilled to share the release of #economicimpact #research and #analysis detailing the role that #nonprofit #arts organizations play in strengthening the South #HamptonRoads economy. Our most interesting takeaway: Communities that fund the arts see such funds returned essentially 1:1 in the form of #taxes and #household income, even before audiences purchase a single ticket. As #nonprofit #entities funded partially by #grantfunding, #arts organizations basically 'pay for themselves' through #community #economicimpact. As we transition into the new year, our goals for FY25 will be to identify one to two similar organizations to support with quality economic development research! 2024 in Review; Looking forward to a Bold 2025 Whether it’s in advocacy or in helping you meet your ever-growing challenges, The Alliance and you work together to have an impact. Over the past year we’ve grown in number and strength – we’ve gained members, had our biggest Annual Conference, staged our largest advocacy rally and held workshops that helped more than 1,700 nonprofit staff members do their jobs even better. That tells us to step boldly to meet the challenges of 2025. We’ll keep growing, keep getting stronger and keep helping one another. More members means more impact on state and federal policy. It also means more people to help one another by exchanging ideas at events, asking questions at division meetings and attracting high quality instructors and speakers who want a big nonprofit audience. The New Hampshire Center for Justice & Equity (NHCJE) has received a $500,000 general operating grant from the Point32Health Foundation.
