As the UK evolves, so should our approach to public holidays. Isn't it time to reconsider our approach to ensure inclusivity for all? What are your thoughts on reimagining public holidays to reflect the diverse tapestry of our society? Should we leave our public holidays as is, or keep key dates in our culture and move the rest to annual leave to take as we wish? #InclusiveHolidays #UKDiversity 💬🌍

To all our valued Candidates, Contractors, Suppliers, and Clients, we hope you find some valuable downtime over the Christmas and New Year break to tackle those tasks we've postponed all year (like my tax return 😒). To the Whizdom staff, I want to express gratitude for the positive energy you've brought throughout the year. Each one of you is truly exceptional, achieving remarkable success and growth. This year, more than ever, many of us eagerly anticipate a break. Despite the continuous busyness, there's a palpable sense of exhaustion. The efforts seem to have outweighed the rewards, making it a particularly challenging year for many. Numerous businesses and industries faced unprecedented hurdles, leading to unfortunate closures and job losses. Looking ahead, we hope for renewed optimism, increased investments across sectors, and a revitalized economy in the coming year. As we approach an election year, it would be uplifting to receive some New Year cheer from the federal parties, focusing on supporting workers, businesses, and enhancing Australia's sovereign and manufacturing capabilities. The lessons from COVID emphasize the importance of self-reliance and reducing dependence on imports, especially those goods once proudly made in Australia. Additionally, global conflicts and severe weather events serve as stark reminders of our interconnectedness and the need for peace and environmental stewardship. Wishing everyone good health, safety, and prosperity in the upcoming year. For those traveling, please drive carefully. Let's all thrive in 2025! During the Christmas and New Year period, Whizdom will operate with reduced staffing and resume regular operations on January 2nd, 2025. Best wishes to all and your families from me and the entire Whizdom team.

📰 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 - check out my latest op-ed in the Goldsboro News-Argus. 🛫 🗺️ 🧳 -- In the heat of U.S. election season, many people are feeling anxious or uncertain about their upcoming travel or vacation plans. While elections are an important part of our democracy, we shouldn’t let them dictate our personal lives to the point of limiting travel or leisure. Here's why you shouldn't let elections alter our plans. First, elections happen regularly — every four years for the presidency, and midterm elections take place every two. If we alter our lives every time, we risk becoming paralyzed by routine events. Second, much of the electoral process occurs peacefully. Despite media-driven narratives of division, the majority of cities across the U.S. remain safe and welcoming throughout elections. In fact, destinations like national parks, beaches, and rural areas are often entirely unaffected by the political climate. Lastly, travel is a great way for us to escape the noise of politics. Vacations offer a much-needed mental break, allowing us to reset and recharge — something essential with political tensions high. Rather than letting an election interfere with your plans, use it as an opportunity to reflect from a distance. Remember, democracy will carry on whether we’re at home or abroad. Don’t let election drama dictate your downtime — take that trip and enjoy the adventure. #Travelmation #GetOutThere #TravelAgent #OpEd #OpinionEditorial #NewsArticle #TravelNews #Election #ElectionNews #NewsCycle #BreakingNews #TravelIndustry
