Recently, I had an experience that underscored the critical importance of honest and thoughtful customer messaging. During a hotel stay, I encountered a broken thermostat. Instead of acknowledging the issue transparently, the hotel put a sticker on the thermostat indicating that it was for my convenience that the HVAC unit was controlled at the window unit. This experience got me thinking 🤔 : How often do we see messaging that prioritizes the convenience of the company over the customer? This type of communication is not only misleading but also damaging to a brand's image. True customer-centric messaging involves honesty and transparency, even when things aren't perfect. By acknowledging issues and communicating them openly, brands demonstrate integrity and respect for their customers. Let's strive to be better communicators.
