TRUST is critical when hiring people. I was interviewing a candidate for a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) role. He seemed like a great guy. His resume was fantastic. I asked him why he wanted to leave his current company. Then… he completely SHOCKED me! He started sharing internal information about his current company. I asked him if this information was public. He said no. At that moment, he completely lost my TRUST. Despite his excellent background, we did not hire him. It's finally come to that point in time where I'm keen to hand over some of the reins for Junction Point CIC 💙 Scary, exciting and hopefully 'freeing' so I can spend more time on development & the stuff I love... and respond to some of the lovely requests for tea & a catch up!! ☕ This is not a junior post, I am looking for someone with experience they can draw upon to hit the ground running. Due to the nature of our current contracts this is a fixed term position. We're seeing this as an opportunity to trial the post ahead of making a permanent role in spring 2025. As I type this I have two poorly kids and a task list as long as my arm... I cannot wait for this person to start so we can get a bit more balanced and remove me as the(self-made) bottle neck. *EDIT: I've had a few people emailing about whether this could be a remote role.
