Engaging with these high-performance athletes was not only inspiring but also incredibly valuable for me as Chief Product Officer at ESN and More Nutrition. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽: even elite athletes still have room for improvement in their nutrition strategies. While they understand the importance of nutrition and supplementation, there’s often a lack of clear, practical guidance and easily actionable solutions. When provided with these, it clicks – and they implement the knowledge and solutions immediately. With the Olympic Games Paris 2024 in full swing, I thought it would be a great opportunity to talk about performance fueling at the Olympic athlete level. As a sports dietitian, I know firsthand how important nutrition is for optimal performance, and this includes the top athletes of the world! Strategic nutrition can support their training routines and skill sets, as well as recovery to keep their bodies in peak condition.
