We are proud to announce that our new climate targets for 2030 have been approved by Science Based Targets initiative. These climate targets include reducing emissions throughout the chain. Together with our sister company Berries Pride, we are the first importers of fruit and vegetables to commit to chain-wide reduction goals. This is a significant milestone in our efforts to care for nature and realise a more sustainable chain. In recent years, Nature’s Pride and Berries Pride have taken significant steps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This focused primarily on company operations and transport. We have worked on increasing packaging sustainability, implementing the transition to green energy sources, valorising food waste for human and animal consumption and incorporating sustainable transport solutions. By applying chain-wide targets we will now collaborate with our growers to reduce agricultural emissions, also known as FLAG targets. #enjoytodaychangingtomorrow #careforpeopleandnature
