25 million chickens are killed every single day—and this shocking figure is just for the U.S. 😲 Imagine the staggering number when we account for all countries worldwide.🤔 As humans, we strive relentlessly for a better life, believing our existence is precious and unique. But here’s a question to ponder: *Why should only humans deserve better?*🧐 What have animals done to deserve anything less than the right to live? Why do we take their lives for granted?🫣 The next time you sit down to eat chicken—or any animal—ask yourself: Is this just food, or was this someone’s life? 🐔💔 Let’s practice mindful eating and cultivate compassion 🌱. This planet is home to us all—humans and animals alike—and every being has an equal right to live their life. 🌍❤️ #MindfulEating #AnimalRights #Compassion #EthicalLiving #PlantBasedLiving #ClimateChange #Environment #BioDiversity
Every day in the US, 25 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 chickens are killed. Almost all of them are killed by live-shackle slaughter: They're hung upside down in metal shackles, dragged through electrified water to (hopefully) stun them, and then their throats are slit 💔
