Exciting morning at our business breakfast meeting with Christopher Luxon, Prime Minister of New Zealand, hosted by Business East Tamaki and sponsored by Forsyth Barr Limited (thank you, Emma Monaghan!). We tackled key issues impacting our businesses today, and here are some of my key takeaways: - 11 months into the new government, the PM acknowledged the "mess inherited" but reassured us that there’s a clear plan to get us back on track. As he put it, "the car is out of the ditch and spluttering in first gear!" - Technology Sector has emerged as New Zealand's third largest export sector—a testament to our innovative spirit. Big shout out to all our Nautech Electronics Ltd. customers! - We need to focus on increasing productivity to seize the opportunities ahead. (Smart factories and using technology more, upskilling) I’m optimistic about our future! There’s immense potential for growth, and I’m excited to be part of this journey with Circuitwise Electronics Manufacturing.
