I, I think I'll probably end up crying at some point. I can imagine it's gonna be really emotional. I'm really excited to see Ariana Grande as Glenda. I think I'm gonna cry. I'm just gonna be solving the entire time. I'm most excited to see Bowen Yang from SNL. His comedy chops are so funny. Wicked was the first Broadway show I ever saw. Right when I got home, I went in, auditioned for High School Musical theater program. So I can't wait to sing the part. So I can't wait to see. On the big screen. Ohh. I can't wait to see all the stunts. I heard Cynthia does all of her own stunts. I'm already getting emotional. I'll be very nostalgic after watching the musical photos. I'm super excited to see Ariana's performance and it's just been really excited to be part of this post production process. I'm excited to see the play turned into a film and I'm also excited to be supporting my sorority sister playing Elphaba. The possibility in terms of like the visual effects, I'm really interested to see how they play with costume design. I watched it on Broadway. When I was about 10, so it's going to be such a full circle moment to see it now that I actually work at Universal. Especially looking forward to Alpha. 11 years old was when I first learned of Wicked and I have known all of the lyrics ever since. So I'm really excited to be really immersed in the world of Oz excited to see Cynthia, Ariana. I am a fan. Everyone is amazing and I cannot wait. So the earlier you slayed the house down and the little kid in me couldn't sit still the whole time, but the theater kid in me just had to prevent myself from singing along to every single song. I mean, it was incredible. It felt like a fresh take on such a classic. Well, I've tried 6 times. I'm very speechless, which is rare for me. It's an experience that you can't miss. Genuinely. Wow, that was even bigger and better than I expected. I even cried at one point. Absolutely brilliant. Such a rollercoaster of emotions. So I think was was quite an emotional rollercoaster. How do I feel? I don't know, I guess emotional. It was really emotional. I'm honestly speechless. I was obviously crying. Just like the most beautiful story about friendship and love and doing the right thing. Every second they were singing defying Gravity, like tears were coming out of my eyes. It literally is one of those beautiful stories I've seen on screen. This is no words. That was amazing.

I loved the movie too!! My love for the broadway Wicked brought me to try the movie and I was SO HAPPY it was actually good! I wore a wide grin the whole time of the movie

In 1930, the U.S. had more than 22,000 movie theaters, with 75% being independently owned. Today, that number has dropped to 5,800, with nearly 75% now corporately owned. I recently wrote about a independent theater I like in Palo Alto that is at risk of being demolished for mixed-use development. I believe a more effective approach would be to invest in these community anchors and third spaces that foster social cohesion and provide affordable date night options, enhancing the movie-going experience without resorting to additional mixed-use complexes. We can revitalize the area while preserving the theater's original purpose, ultimately uplifting the community far more than these mixed-use developments have proven capable of achieving. https://lnkd.in/g4sqPV9v
