The exposed dry film polymerizes, replicating the artwork. Then the dry film is developed to prepare for etching to remove unwanted copper from the panel. After that, the remaining dry film is stripped away, leaving the designed copper circuitry. The circuitry undergoes an AOI against digital images to ensure accuracy and defect free quality.
