North – Robbinsdale Hospital is under immense strain, providing care to an increasing number of patients covered by Medicare and Medicaid, serving as a “safety net” hospital but without the official designation or subsequent financial assistance. The challenges we are facing are no longer sustainable and cannot be ignored; the time to act is now. For everyone who knows the importance of North Memorial Health in the metro’s healthcare landscape, please join our efforts as we call on Hennepin County Commissioners for support. #ProtectRobbinsdaleHospital https://lnkd.in/gpXVDrBU

The care coordination at the center of MyCare leads to better health outcomes and improved quality of life for Ohioans who qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid, but that’s not all: It also yields substantial Medicaid savings, by reducing hospitalizations and nursing-home placements as well as duplicative care. Better health AND tax savings are a win-win for all Ohioans; that’s why MyCare is set to go statewide in 2026. https://lnkd.in/ekptPM4E

The number of children enrolled in ACA healthcare plans rose 40% between 2023 and 2024. While I wish I could celebrate, that still means over a million kids who lost coverage in the Medicaid unwinding remain uninsured. States must do more to keep kids from slipping through the cracks. One way to help children access care is to implement continuous enrollment for kids, which ensures they stay covered even when their parents’ financial circumstances may change. Below is a map of which states are considering or enacting this promising policy from Georgetown University Center for Children and Families:
