Looking back, my career (25 years) had led me to this point ...
I was 23 when I knew I wanted to help organisations be better, do better... I remember the exact moment that thought occurred to me. The want arose from a need, an angry reaction to seeing how institutions mistreated the very people they were there to serve and support.
I found a job in compliance, which developed into internal audit. I found a place where I could hold management to account, to do better and be better.
Then I realised that what I really wanted to see was real behavioural change, and that was about culture. Company culture.
I have worked in the DEI world, helping companies do better, be better at their diversity and anti-racism goals. Inclusion matters.
I developed my understanding of the whole system of governance and how it impacts company behaviours. Ethics is paramount.
I haven't looked back as I pursued honing my skills, knowledge and understanding of how companies work culturally, in pursuit of objectives that are supported by the practices that drive decision making and behaviours. Psychological safety is at the core of bringing it all together effectively.
And at dragonfish UK I am empowered to put it all to use.
It's been a rewarding journey to get to this point. And now I have joined Awards International as a judge and will be assessing Employee Experience case studies and presentations.
I can't wait.
We are thrilled to share that one of our Senior Consultants, Kami N. will be a judge at this year's Awards International UK EX Awards!
Here's what she had to say:
"I am really excited to be part of the Awards International 2024 Judges panel assessing best in class Employee Experience case studies. As a culture consultant I regularly see first hand the impact of employee experience on culture - I look forward to seeing some of the innovative solutions that achieve impact."
