Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture - NDPC’s Post

OUR HIGHLIGHTS - CreativeGPS training program bootcamp ✨ Last weekend 68 creative professionals from Latvia, Estonia, and Finland came together to spend two exciting days in CreativeGPS bootcamp in Tallinn! Bootcamp was dedicated to networking - an activity that can help boost your career on enormous terms, if used wisely! As the keynote speaker Laura Lindsberg said - networking is not about collecting contacts, it is about planting relationships! We put networking into practice through a series of guided exercises, and participants formed peer groups to share their reflections. Our creative professionals had an exclusive opportunity to hear so many inspiring stories and workshops to get a fresh perspective on navigating their careers! Tallinna Ettevõtlusinkubaator / Tallinn Business Incubator facilitated entrepreneurial stories session, where the speakers were: 🎤 Marko Ala, the founder of Oot Oot Design Studio. it focuses on designing and producing upholstered furniture and beds, with all products crafted in Estonia. 🎤 Berit Kaschan, an Estonian poet, literary scholar, and literary therapist. She currently runs a company called Biblionaut, which offers writing therapy services and group sessions. We did not only listen but deep-dived into particular topics and reflected on a deeper level. Our amazing workshop leaders and their sessions were: 🎯 Jenni Sainio "A value-driven creative career? Reflections on the career choices and values behind them." 🎯 Krista Petäjäjärvi "Cross-sectoral collaboration: Why and how to partner up with professionals outside culture & creative sector? 🎯 Riitta Aittokallio "Balancing act: strategies for success in juggling a multifaceted creative career." 🎯 Kristina Virse "Develop your pitch!" We are thankful to our partner organisations - Tallinna Ettevõtlusinkubaator / Tallinn Business Incubator and Taide- ja kulttuurialan ammattijärjestö TAKU ry for making this possible! Many thanks to Estonian Business School for being our hosts! What's next? CreativeGPS training program will have final events in December, but in spring we will work toward an open access tool for creative professionals to coordinate their careers! Stay tuned!
