Gensler and Supernal collaborated at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2024 earlier this year in Las Vegas to demonstrate the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) passenger experience and to showcase Supernal’s new AAM vehicle concept, S-A2. Both companies are working to define the future of transportation, through electric air vehicles, ground infrastructure and other mobility concepts cities will need in the future. CES 2024 provided a glimpse into what the public can expect when air mobility options arrive through flight simulations, projected flight routes, air traffic control simulations and robot maintenance. A wonderful time today listening to a talk by Gioele Zardini at the Topos Institute moderated by David Spivak. There's a lot to explore here in this talk for applied category theory fans - partially ordered sets, boolean profunctors, game theory, compositionality in co-design, and much more. The application to autonomous vehicles is highlighted. The discussion on profunctors and selecting items from catalogs was fascinating. Linear logic is discussed. And my favorite, since I live near Austin and the Circuit of The Americas, is a paper with Marc-Philippe Neumann, Alberto Cerofolini, and Christopher Onder: "On The Co-Design of Components and Racing Strategies in Formula 1". https://lnkd.in/gwxqCRNg Applied category theory is racing ahead to victory. It's an All-Terrain Vehicle capable of reaching speeds of 45 mph on both land and water. Quadski is no longer available for sale. I wonder why?
