#StoriesToWatch in Women's Health for 2025 (pt. 1)
🤔 What if we could completely transform the way we treat cancer?
I must admit –– so many stories I've worked on this past year have moved me, and I'm still connected to seeing where they'll go.
(I mean, I get to interview some of the leading scientists and providers in the women's health space––and they are all up to something so good.)
For instance, Dr. Sarah Taylor and her team are going beyond what's required in #cancercare: from listening to understand (and then redesign) the experience of a patient with this diagnosis, to creating more #clinicaltrial opportunities, and streamlining #genetictesting that could save lives.
They embody the idea that to truly deliver more for women, for patients, for families, we have to expand our ideas of the role of science, the environments and systems in which we provide care, and the way that we treat women with cancer.
