#Climate problem is not linear it is a web of problem. Climate change isn't just about temperature rise, it is much more than that. The complex interlinkages include #public_health, #air and #water quality, #biodiversity_loss, #unemployment, and even peace and security. It is the time that we shift our #focus toward #sustainable transition. This means adopting holistic #approaches that consider the broader impacts of climate change and integrating sustainability principles into #policies, #programs, #investments, and #funding_decisions.

🌍 Climate Crisis Alert🌍 A recent study reveals that the climate crisis is causing the length of our days to increase. The mass melting of polar ice is reshaping our planet, leading to longer days by milliseconds. This seemingly small change can disrupt modern life, affecting internet traffic, financial transactions, and GPS navigation. While climate change and the water crisis are often combined as a single environmental challenge to tackle, they are mutually aggravating problems through feedback loops. 🌡💧 We must realize that addressing one problem does not automatically solve the other, and we should strive to find integrated solutions that can solve these problems without paying the price of the other. Let’s explore the effective alternatives to save our Earth! 🌏 #TessellationGroup #DefiningtheStatusQuoforTomorrow #ClimateChange #WaterScarcity #EffectiveAlternatives #IntegratedSolutions #Interconnectedyetindependent

Climate change is impacting and damaging our critical infrastructure. This infographic shares the statistics of what areas are most impacted by climate change, and water management tops the list. Furthermore, this exacerbates inequity, causing underserved communities to feel the negative effects more deeply. We need increased resilience, and we need it soon. https://lnkd.in/gtaR9eGB #ClimateChange #ClimateCrisis #Infrastructure

💧🌍 What are the impacts of climate change on our water? 🤔 This question concerns us all and deserves urgent attention! Climate change threatens our water resources in various ways - from the melting of glaciers and poles to the increased occurrence of extreme weather events such as droughts or floods to rising sea levels. ❗ These changes go far beyond ecological consequences, but will also have an increasing economic and social impact in the coming years and decades. 💪 Let's reflect together on how we can protect our planet and conserve our water resources. The water crisis is real now and will increase in the coming years, driven in particular by climate change. #WaterNow 💧 #WeBuildResponsibility #AqseptenceGroup #Future #Environment #Sustainability #WaterTreatment #VacuumTechnology #ScreeningTechnology #Separation #Filtration

Why our system is denying climate change? The concept of climate change gives rise to fundamental questions concerning the core elements of our system. Consequently, it presents a formidable challenge to our current structure. It illuminates the unsustainability of our economic structures and industrial practices over time. Furthermore, it sheds light on how notions of progress and technology are mistaken or inadequate in guaranteeing the health and longevity of civilization. Additionally, it exposes the shortcomings of existing political systems, which place our collective well-being in jeopardy. As a result, climate change poses a significant threat to the stability and legitimacy of the system, evoking a strong urge to safeguard it. Water is the essence of life and crucial for our climate system. Demand for water is soaring globally and access to it is a challenge in many parts of the world. As societies develop and economies expand, the ways we use and consume water are evolving, and this most fundamental of resources will play a major part in achieving sustainable development and tackling climate change. In a three-part series, Melanie Beyeler, Senior Portfolio Manager at EFG International, looks at the role of water in a globalized world with a growing population. The first article – published today – focuses on water and climate change. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gA3wHNtM #EFG #Sustainability #Water #ClimateTransition

Climate scientist Bill McGuire says, "Climate disruption can seem frightening, overwhelming, and beyond our power to fix. That is true if we try to tackle it as individuals and in isolation. Because it is a systemic and societal problem, it is obviously bigger than any individual. But that doesn't mean nothing can be done. It means rather that we need to join hands with other concerned people in organized, long-term collective action. When concerned people organize politically and work together, they can make important changes, and that's how the climate crisis can be solved." Climate change is already putting an extremely heavy burden on our "social safety net," and ultimately, that can cause social order to break down and degenerate into chaos. We're already seeing signs of this as 114 million refugees fled their homes in 2023 due to climate-related disasters, war, violence, and persecution. I joined the Ron Van Dam Show (8:50) to discuss this and the climate solutions in my book Solving the Climate Crisis: Frontline Reports from the Race to Save the Earth. My research for the book included hundreds of interviews that included conversations with governors, mayors, scientists, engineers, business leaders, throughout the United States and Western Europe.
