That's why we believe in giving them a great start in life and supporting desexing and microchipping, to prevent unwanted litters, reduce stray populations, and ensure every pet has a loving and responsible home. The key part to this is? "Designed to grow with our initiatives"... Having a 'completed' view of CSR isn't practical or beneficial. CSR, and the intentions falling within it, are never truly completed. They evolve 🌱 How do you stay responsive to the world around you if you're reviewing your efforts and impact on a 6/12-month basis? You also don't need to be at the endpoint, to share your progress. At Murray we're making sustainable changes so that we stick to them, grow them and add to them. This is our starting point, highlighting our most recent efforts. I recommend setting aside a small amount of time to do this once a week and start with one area at a time. I like to clear the floor first and then start on one corner and work my way around the room. Once all the unwanted and or broken items are gone then the organizing can begin. It’s a great feeling when it’s done and you can use the space again. There are charity organizations that need items and many of them pick up too from your front door. This observance is a day dedicated to taking a look around your home and ridding it of the excess things you have accumulated. Think Spring cleaning meets Fall cleaning. This is a superb initiative and something I'm proud to be supporting, especially as an ecologically-minded Welshman who'd like to see the return of nature and bioabundance to a land that needs reinvigoration through positive change that benefits all, man and beast. I see initiatives like this as critical to the future of rural communities, because it's clear to see that farming in the uplands has become a marginal activity, economically, which makes it unsustainable in its current guise. If we want rural, upland communities to thrive in the long run, we need a diversified economy in those areas. However, that doesn't mean people being forced to abandon the land; but rather, doing things differently in a way that allows for a viable presence to be maintained, which still permits the land to be worked and traditions to be maintained. This way, farmers working low value, grade 6 and 7 agricultural land today will be able to pass it down to willing descendants who want to continue the practices. By embracing ecological restoration, it opens up a world of commercial opportunity, which otherwise wouldn't be there, whilst also allowing #biodiversity to flourish. It really is a bona fide example of a genuine win-win scenario. Please consider donating to this great cause and positive vision for the future of Wales. I read an article about short term mission trips. It was an expose and they were detailing how after a group comes into a village to build a building, create a new source of income, or simply bring in toys, food, or clothing that once that group leaves, all of it is torn down or thrown away. Why would this happen? Because there are huge exchanges of funds that are collected by local government or charitable agencies, not to mention nonprofit, non taxable donations received. The only losers in the around the table win-win game are the villagers or orphans that are exploited. There can be no end game that works. Who would donate or keep sending groups of volunteers to build buildings if the locals appeared to be well fed, well clothed, or if they already had a home or a school building? Leveling up is not good for the missions business or travel industry to these regions. #expose
