Vessel and market activity from a fleet perspective.
Thanks to Hagland Shipbrokers for the insights into the maritime world in the #northsea!
This is what activity looks like in a saturated market.
Soon coming to US shores for #offshorewind.
🔇Could 'silent mode' make offshore wind even more environmentally friendly?🔇
This pioneering new technology aims to minimise noise disruption during the installation of monopiles at offshore wind farms.
Although the end product is clean energy, the installation phase of offshore wind farms can sometimes disturb marine life due to the noise created when driving monopiles into the seabed. This new technology aims to capture and contain vibrations, minimising noise disruption and making installations more efficient.
Incorporating ecological programmes at an early stage of wind farm planning could lead to further innovations that reduce or minimise the impact of offshore works on marine life.

Invisibility -- not being seen -- not being seen as "ugly", "a nuisance", "a polluter", or an "Eyesore" is very important for Renewable Energy Power Plant Expansion on land and underwater. This is the key to the WaterNet.

Njord's Managing Director, Frederik Pind, at DNV - Maritime Energy Transition Summit on the Future of Energy Efficiency in the Maritime Industry
Frederik joins an expert panel at DNV's Maritime Energy Transition Summit hosted by Trond Hodne, Global Business Development Director at DNV, with notable panelists Ingvild Sæther (Altera Infrastructure), Paolo Tonon (Berge Bulk), and Adrian MacMillan (Woodside Energy).
Frederik highlights the future of maritime energy efficiency. He emphasises the vital role of combining various technologies for substantial fuel savings.
He points out that while individual technologies like wind and air lubrication are significant, it's the integration of multiple, even basic, technologies that can lead to fuel savings of up to 30%. This holistic approach not only enhances energy efficiency but also boosts the return on investment for shipowners.
Watch the full clip and hear Frederik's comprehensive views on the future of energy efficiency in the maritime industry and how Njord is leading the way in facilitating this transformative journey.

Ok, it's time to share with my global Port and Terminal Connections the ViaGen Road energy Solution from the British engineering Company SoStratus Energy. Today, Terminals and Ports are under pressure to create clean and green energy, and the demand for increased electricity is at an all-time high! ViaGen could deliver a currently untapped source of energy. Imagine harnessing the kinetic energy of every truck visiting your facility and converting those forces into a clean energy source. ViaGen is the answer. Check out our video showcasing how our system operates. We aim to provide a true alternative to wind and solar with a faster ROI and a solution not influenced by the weather. "What does CableFish do?" they said. "Continuous touchdown monitoring of the cable touchdown point, even when the currents exceed 2knots or when in shallow water, and at a fraction of the cost of an ROV".
"Oh, great idea!" they said. "It's really simple".
Seeing is believing!

Exciting day for the East Midlands as the region commits to be the UK's centre for innovative energy solutions! We were thrilled to see the East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire) unveil their ambitious "Manifesto for Growth 2024" at Westminster today.
The vision of our region is to transform the East Midlands into a leading hub for energy production, storage, and provision aligning nicely with Tomato Energy 's mission. We are fully committed to supporting this goal through our work deploying large-scale rooftop solar PV and energy storage systems across the region.
The manifesto recognises that the East Midlands has a "Big Opportunity" given recent major energy projects like the STEP fusion plant development and Rolls-Royce's small modular reactor work. At Tomato Energy, we are playing our part by rolling out renewable energy assets and storage that will enhance the region's energy resilience and sustainability.
Our rooftop solar PV installations are turning commercial and industrial buildings into power plants. Combined with cutting-edge battery storage, we are maximising renewable generation while enhancing grid flexibility. This distributed energy model is key to a net-zero future.
It's great to see a forward-thinking manifesto that recognises energy as a strategic priority. Tomato Energy stands ready to support the vision through partnerships and innovative solutions. The East Midlands is primed to take the lead - full steam ahead!
