Delightful! Was anybody else a Disney Kid!? I sure was. It’s lovely to see Mickey bringing the joy and smiles to these babies to this day. A Mickey Mouse stuffed toy was my first Christmas present at 4 weeks old. Still have it with me.
Happy Birthday, Walt Disney! 🎉
Today, we honor the visionary who brought magic into our lives. Walt Disney's boundless imagination and unwavering belief in the power of dreams continue to inspire us every day.
As I reflect on Walt Disney’s leadership, I am reminded of the profound impact that creativity, innovation, and a childlike spirit can have on our work and lives. Walt's leadership style was rooted in a relentless pursuit of excellence, an unyielding commitment to storytelling, and a deep passion for creating joy.
How I Embrace Walt Disney's Leadership Style
· Innovation and Creativity: Just as Walt Disney believed in pushing the boundaries of what is possible, I strive to foster an environment where innovation thrives. Encouraging my team to think outside the box and embrace new ideas is key to our success. We aim to create experiences that captivate and inspire, much like the enchanting worlds Walt envisioned.
· Childlike Spirit: Walt's ability to see the world through the eyes of a child is something I hold dear in my leadership approach. This perspective allows us to remain curious, joyful, and imaginative in our endeavors. It’s about finding wonder in the everyday and using that inspiration to fuel our creativity and problem-solving.
· Collaborative Culture: Walt Disney emphasized the importance of collaboration and teamwork. By nurturing a supportive and inclusive environment, I ensure that every team member feels valued and empowered to contribute their unique talents. Together, we can achieve remarkable things.
· Commitment to Excellence: Walt Disney’s pursuit of perfection drives my commitment to delivering high-quality results. It’s about setting high standards, paying attention to the smallest details, and continuously striving for improvement. This dedication ensures that we create memorable and impactful experiences for our customers.
As we celebrate Walt Disney's legacy, let's remember to lead with the same passion, creativity, and visionary spirit that he embodied. Here's to dreaming big and creating magic every day! Thank you, Walt Disney, for showing us the power of imagination. 🌟

This video is a powerful reminder of why diversity is relevant and will always matter. A few years back, my former Disney colleagues shared their stories, emphasizing the importance of ongoing conversations and the need for change. Watch the video here: https://lnkd.in/gQ3iguq7. Let's keep pushing for progress together. #DiversityMatters
Disney's new movie, Out of My Mind, is a heartfelt and powerful story that shines a light on inclusion, diversity, and understanding. This film follows Melody, a brilliant girl with cerebral palsy, as she navigates a world that often underestimates her.
Out of My Mind is more than just a movie—it's a call to action. It's an opportunity to start meaningful conversations about acceptance, breaking stereotypes, and creating spaces where everyone feels valued and seen.
By watching this film, we can educate ourselves and others, building a world where everyone, regardless of ability, truly belongs. Let’s use this story to inspire empathy, challenge our perspectives, and celebrate the unique strengths within every individual.
Gather your family, friends, or community and watch Out of My Mind together. Then, take the conversation further. Ask questions, listen, and reflect. Together, we can make a difference!
Let’s make “Everyone Belongs” more than a slogan—let’s make it a reality. ❤️
Quote of the Day, by Walt Disney. Takeaway? Our aspirations can become reality if we are brave enough to actively chase them. There is a recurring theme in these inspirational quotes... faith. Please let me know what your thoughts are by sharing below! #QuoteOfTheDay#WaltDisney#Dreams
This is one of the reasons why I want to make the law accesible to a not only to regular people, but also creatives. The more information one has, the more empowered one can be to make informed decisions.
Electronic Terms and Conditions, from what I’ve learned in class, can sometimes be really tricky. Based on the information I’ve seen so far, it looks like the terms and conditions in this case were a part of a “click wrap agreement” (aka “click wrap”). 📋
“Click wrap”☑️: In these type of agreements, Company A is overtly asking Consumer to agree to a list of terms (usually has a hyperlink to the document embedded in the text). There is usually a check box that says “I agree to the terms and conditions” you have to click before you can finish an online purchase. Once Consumer checks that box, Consumer is telling Company A that he agrees to ALL of their terms and conditions, even if he didn’t read them.
Yes, there is a “duty to read” (this just means its on the the party accepting the contract to read the contract before agreeing to it) here in the US; but Ms. Gilliam makes a good point: how does one expect an average consumer to read through 80+ pages of terms and conditions bogged down in language they won’t understand unless they Googled every other word? 🧐
I’m curious to see how this situation will play out because watching Disney+ and eating food at a theme park are two disjointed activities on there own that are connected by the product/service synergy of a specific brand. 🎢
We shall see🤗

At Walt Disney World, there's no such thing as lost children.
It's the adults that get lost.
There are several reasons why this is the case, but mainly it's because Cast Members (Disney's term for employees) want to de-escalate the situation and calm the child down, reducing unnecessary stress.
It's not the child that's lost; it's the parent.
This highlights the importance and the power of language. As communication professionals, we hold that power every single day.
Be sure to use it for good.
