Stadiums, Seated or Extended.
By seated stadiums, I refer to those ancient stadiums designed for spectators to sit and watch athletes compete, such as the Colosseum in Rome built in 72 AD.
However, time passes, and technology advances.
The first live broadcast of a sporting event occurred at the 1936 Olympic Games. Since then, broadcasting companies continue to fill venues with cables and position cameras wherever they can. Except in those stadiums that are already designed or have been modified so that cameras occupy strategic positions and have all the facilities for their work. These broadcasting-adapted stadiums belong to the "new" generation of stadiums that allow an extended experience, as proposed by LALIGA.
If you're curious to learn about LALIGA's extended stadium concept, you can consult our TV Regulations, where we explain in great detail how we achieve making any LALIGA match appear as if it were recorded in a single stadium.

A significant portion of all those infrastructures detailed in the regulations is implemented by our #engineering department Venue Solutions.
