Board meeting, done. I’ve now been the Finnish representative on the board of Nordisk Film & TV Fond for 1.5 years. Over my 20-year career in the industry, I’ve served as a board member in around ten different organizations. While there is a time and place for everything, being a board member at NFTF is definitely one of the highlights. It is both interesting and motivating to discuss various topics with fellow board members, with the feeling that I can both learn and contribute my expertise. In an environment that I am most passionate about – Nordic film and drama.
As the cost of living crisis continues to impact festival-goers' spending habits, many festivals are struggling to stay afloat due to rising operational costs and reduced bar revenue.
