We are calling for abstracts that focus on any of the following topics in relation to engagements in the Horn of Africa and African Great Lakes: Multilateral institutions’ engagement in conflict prevention, transformation and peacebuilding. The role of donor coordination in supporting or hindering peace processes and security efforts. Financial mechanisms supporting peace and human security. Systematic reviews of peace and security architectures for countries and multilateral institutions. Genuine and meaningful youth engagement in the multilateral system. The role of environmental programming and climate financing on peace and security. The connection and experiences of poverty and peace. The opportunities and challenges to advance gender equality within the multilateral system.
