Citizens of Appling County (and the state of Georgia in general) often do not know where to start when wanting to open a business. There are many constraints when it comes to starting a business, such as knowing which permit is appropriate for your business. The city, county, and state governments have many resources available, but they are often buried in organizations’ websites. The ILA Team (Halle Bynum, JD Chipman, Shubby Khanna, Andy Park, & Harold Wyatt) developed a guide on how to start a business in Appling County. This guide will serve as a one-stop shop for all questions related to entrepreneurship in the community.
