"When AI evokes emotion it can curate sustained engagement ..and that is only a short, hop, skip and jump to AI becoming empowering. It may be digital but it will generate human reactions and responses. These could either lead to a person's agency subliminally being undermined or it being amplified. With the right resources and accentuation of agency, a person could begin realising their potential, fulfilling their purpose, and achieving their goals and dreams. It just needs to trigger an emotion or subscription of attention. However, we need to ask the question, 'Should we allow AI to trigger emotion?'. There are ramifications for triggering mental health reactions that awaken trauma. The problem is, even if it is beneficial, it might be unethical and against emerging laws and regulations. Advancing Compliance then must be balanced with advancing Ethically minded Creativity and the advances in Consciousness that affords the human race. Humanity must not get dumber as AI gets smarter, we have to grow together with AI if we are to grow at all. " Jazz Rasool 10th July 2024
