Recently, while hiring for a mid-senior role in Bengaluru, I noticed a concerning trend that I need to address: Out of 400+ applications, a significant number of candidates deliberately misrepresented their experience levels. Here's what I discovered 👇 1️⃣ Many entry-level candidates and freshers attempted to bypass our screening system by claiming 5+ years of experience in knockout questions, despite having only 1-2 years of actual experience. 2️⃣ While this might get your CV past the initial automated screening, it's immediately apparent to human recruiters—and it's an instant rejection. 3️⃣ Worse still, such misrepresentation can get you blacklisted from future opportunities. 💡 Pro Tip: The automated screening system isn't your enemy—it's there to ensure role-candidate fit. Hi All, I have been #Unemployed for 10 #months. I have #applied for job after job after job and gotten more rejections than I can count. I have been ghosted after the first and second interviews. I have never heard back from some of the places I applied to. I have done many technical, strategy ,and other interviews where I spent time preparing only to get my hopes dashed . The rejection I got this morning was the breaking point . I don't know where I belong anymore. I have been sticking to mostly tech and non -tech companies. Hiring managers are not replying. I have exhausted all my income and I am active on linkedin daily, reaching out to companies and recruiters. Being a fresher now a days feels like we have done crime. it's really. No one is born with knowledge, so please try to understand one chance at job support over a year. I have applied to more entry- level roles and have been told I'm not a fit either. I am extraordinarily committed. I am a hard worker . I show up ,and I give my job my all. Today I am sad . I've noticed a rise in "ghost jobs" on LinkedIn, where companies post vacancies but don't seem to be hiring and instead collect data from freshers. Has anyone else experienced this? How can we protect ourselves from falling into these traps? Would love to hear your thoughts and advice!

🚨Fraud Alert for Freshers 🚨 Using ..Naukri.com Name 📞Yesterday I Got Call from Unknown no.+91 96673 85642 in Truecaller showing ( Naukari Hr Team) A lady talked with me, her name was Shruti Sharma..!! She said that your Resume is shortlisted for IBM, and we will provide you a referral and help you until you get that job!! First, they asked me to verify my documents and send them to their WhatsApp and mail id: naukrirecruiterhrteam@gmail.com ☠️There are 3 people on the conference call ☠️ 1.Shruti Sharma 2.Document Verification Team Manager 3.HR 😹They Said that...😹 There will be 3 Rounds: 📍1. Telephonic Round 📍2. Technical Round 📍3. HR Round I asked them about fees, they said it's only 2000/- and refundable after you get the job..!! 📲 In the Telephonic Round, they asked some CS fundamental questions. I answered those questions, and boom!! They said I'm selected for the next round..!! 🤣 Please pay for the next Round; it will be a Technical Round. For that, you have to pay the Referral fees, and we will provide you with the questions asked in that interview, so you can answer all questions... After I refused to pay the fees because I understood their trap, they told me that if I can't pay the fees, then my documents will get blacklisted for all companies. They sent me this message 🤯 Dear candidate, the company has taken action against you because you have committed fraud with the company. Your documents will be blacklisted in all companies. Your challan No. 086/6618/2024 QC (Cash No.PR12) and the challan amount is RS. 45,541/- paid in your domestic court. The officer team will visit your home address within 2-3 days. After scams in 1992 and 2003, there's now a scam on LinkedIn, where fake recruiters ask candidates to type #interested in comments. This manipulates emotions is just for views, specially in case of freshers.
