In Swedish, this week which in the christian world is called Holy week or Passion week is called "stilla veckan", maybe best translated with tranquil week. IT HAS NOT BEEN TRANQUIL! Report meetings, start-ups with clients, workshops and ideation sessions, submitting papers and closing the books on 2023. 😵💫 We closed the books on 2023 remarking on that it was a tough year yet filled with hope, energy, reward and direction. The world events and continued destruction of our home, our planet, and its resources strengthened us in the believe that collaboration and a green transition is the only way forward. 💪 It was tough because many of our clients faced budget restraints in the wake of global uncertainties but we continued our dialogues, scoping out valuable and structured studies that now are getting started. 👊 It was hopeful and rewarding because of the team developments and acknowledgment given to us by so many clients and collaborators. The Best Partner Award from Procter & Gamble a highlight of course. It was energetic and directive because of the pressing needs of society, the fact that we have strong platform TO DO something and using the SDGs to guide us we know how to focus all this energy, competence and capability. ✋ During 2023 our focused sustainability work became more and more integrated in the normal CR Way of Working. We will report specifically on this later on this year. One outcome is our focus on "impact through clients". It is by our clients products and processes we make the largest impact. We have their trust and we will not miss this opportunity. During 2023, we worked with 30 different companies. Our clients were in Germany, The Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, USA, Great Britain, France and Switzerland. We worked with products in the areas of #food, #pharma #veterinary medicine #medtech #personalcare #watersaving. One way to look at our impact is to see what the products that we worked with can have a positive impact. In the figure below you see how our work 2023 translates to SDGs according to our grading of the projects. 🧙♀️ With this, we will end the work part of Passion week and enter some true tranquility during Easter week-end. Closing the books on 2023, a tough year yet filled with energy, hope and direction. Enamul Mojumdar joined and Carmina Garcia Dominguez signed to join. We worked with 30 different companies in several countries. Five companies were completely new to us while some have developed to be close through many years of collaborations. Procter & Gamble C+D Americas, honoured us with the Best Partner Award, because we are valuable and the relation is "beyond polite". All projects of 2023 were on products and processes with potential to have positive impact on our common sustainability goals, see below an illustration of this. Having a relationship "beyond polite" and sharing the same goal are two requisites for doing good efficiently.

🎄 Joy, Culture, and the Power of a Great Idea 🎅 I recently saw a video of a Krampus festival—wild, eerie, and steeped in tradition. It reminded me how unique ideas shape cultures and how others amplify them. Take Santa Claus, for example. The jolly, red-suited St. Nick most of us picture today wasn’t invented by Coca-Cola, but their genius marketing gave us the Santa we know and love. His vibrant red coat (a Coca-Cola red, no less), warm smile, and twinkle in his eye became symbols of joy, generosity, and togetherness that are now timeless. This reminds me that it’s not always about having the original idea—it’s about making it better. It’s about nurturing concepts that resonate, bring people joy, and connect us to something bigger. As we approach the holidays, let’s keep that same spirit alive. Whether you’re wrapping up work, stepping away for a much-deserved break, or celebrating traditions new and old with your family, let’s focus on what truly matters: the joy we bring to others and the memories we create together.
