𝐃𝐎𝐓𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝟎𝟖 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐒𝐌𝐂-𝐒𝐀𝐏 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐢𝐝 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐀𝐈𝐀 𝐏𝐏𝐏 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 Following the determination by the Pre-Qualification Bids and Awards Committee (PBAC) for the NAIA Public-Private Partnership Project that three of the four Bidders for the project submitted complying technical proposals, the PBAC opened the financial proposals submitted by the three Bidders on Thursday, 8 February, and ranked them on the basis of bid amount. Of the three bidders, the SMC-SAC Consortium submitted the highest bid amount, offering to share 82.16% of future gross revenues, excluding Passenger Service Charges, with the government. This is in addition to the fixed upfront fee of P 30 billion and annual fee of P 2 billion, both payable to the government. The bid amounts submitted by the three bidders were: SMC-SAP & Company Consortium - 82.16% GMR Airports Consortium - 33.30% Manila International Airport Consortium - 25.91% The PBAC will review the financial proposals for compliance with the requirements of the Instructions to Bidders, which specify certain requirements for the financial model and financing plan submitted by the bidders. This process is expected to be completed, and a Notice of Award issued to the bidder whose financial proposal meets the requirements of the Instructions to Bidders and who submitted the highest bid amount, by 15 February 2024. #DOTrPH 🇵🇭 https://lnkd.in/gfYVrqGP
