A day off today to attend Henley Royal Regatta, always a great day with too much food and drink. Its been hectic the last few weeks with so many things going on from all directions, all positive but as people who run their own businesses know its a constant list of "challenges" (as Paul Avins says we don't have problems just puzzles to solve- love this way of looking at it) The good thing is I love solving the puzzles or challenges and then moving forward to the next thing.. Next week we have 4 new helpdesk team members start training as we move our helpdesk to a genuine 24 hour rather than a rota system as we currently have. This means TNA Admin available day and night to ensure our clients get the service they need whenever that may be and with our nationwide coverage that also means wherever that is. It comes at the right time as our out of hours is certainly gaining traction, multiple calls last night until the early hours for leaks, locks, a break in and oh yes more leaks! if you need building maintenance support anywhere, anytime, lets have a chat.. You can now easily correct specific details on your EPF Portal online. The process includes filing a joint declaration online, which was previously done offline. Under the manage tab on your EPF Portal, you have the option to update information such as your name, father's name, husband's name, relation, date of joining, date of exit, and marital status. Remember to submit the required documents to support the changes. Important reminder about PCBU responsibilities! A PCBU or 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 is essentially an employer and has a legal duty to ensure worker health and safety. 🚧👷♂️

It's important that everyone understands their duties under the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA) as nearly all workers (including some volunteers) are subject to OHS legislation. Anyone considered to be either a 'Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking’ (PCBU) or a person working for a PCBU, is subject to the legislation. A PCBU is not limited to traditional employers. It includes various entities such as sole traders, partnerships, companies, unincorporated associations, and even government departments or public authorities. The Act also places duties on ‘officers’ of a PCBU, such as managers, supervisors, or team leaders. These officers are required to exercise due diligence, or reasonable care to ensure that the PCBU complies with its health and safety obligations. To add to that, every individual in the workplace has a responsibility under the Act to take reasonable care for not just their own health and safety, but also to ensure that their actions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others. This collective approach ensures a safer working environment for everyone.
