Looking for a magical or romantic way to end your wedding? A sparkler send-off may be the perfect exit for you and your new spouse. You've likely participated in one of these send-offs as a guest, so you know how beautiful they can be. We're sharing some tips for making sure your send-off is both picture-perfect and safe.
Pre-Wedding Planning for Your Send-Off:
✨ Choose 36 inch sparkers
✨ Order enough for one per person, with 15-20% extra just in case; order online from a licensed retailer
✨ Include this detail in your timeline so all your vendors can understand your vision
✨ Choose a spacious area, sheltered from wind
Leading Up to Your Send-Off:
✨ Inform your guests that their presence is requested at a particular time (ideally when dark outside)
✨ Optional to create signage near the entry of your venue or include it in the DJ/band's announcements before the last dance, or ask them to communicate the instructions with their microphone as everyone is heading toward your send-off
✨ Place the sparklers in an obvious place near where you'd like them to line up so guests can grab one and get in place before getting their sparklers lit - one lighter (not a match) per 12 guests
✨ Have buckets of sand or water ready to collect the sparklers as they are still hot after the flame has died

It was my daughter’s birthday party on Saturday- balloons & cake 🎂 with Prosecco as she turned 30 and a milestone🎈We had a brilliant time.
But apparently children’s birthday parties are costing a fortune‼️
Join me on #BBC Radio #Surrey & #Sussex at 10.10 today as we discuss:
UK children's birthday party average price soars to over £500 as traditional staples are ditched‼️
With more than half of parents feeling they have to deliver for their kids, the total cost of laser tag, party bags, professional photographers is leaving a hole in families' wallets
Kids' birthday parties are often far more lavish than the jelly-and-ice-cream affairs of yesteryear, with a poll finding they cost an average of £524.
Traditional staples such as bowls of crisps, ham sandwiches, cheese and pineapple hedgehogs and party hats are now outdated.
A survey of parents with children under 13 revealed some want treats such as private cinema screenings (7%), professional photographers (9%), wall climbing (22%) and games of laser tag (25%). One in 20 parents have ordered in a sushi platter.
What are your thoughts?
Have you felt the pressure or did you, like me, always have wonderful parties when the kids were little that did not cost the earth?
Apparently the most difficult aspects are the high expectations kids have now (26%), different food requirements and allergies (38%) and having to invite their whole class (43%) all proving a nightmare.

I send my dearest friends and family members holiday cards each year to wish them extra love this time of year. I appreciate that personal touch, and I bet they do too. It's so much more valuable than a Merry Christmas post on Facebook. It makes me feel loved. And, if someone writes something especially for me on the card, it's even more meaningful.
So, when these holiday cards come in, I want to honor them at least during the season. But, where to put them? There are so many ways to display the cards. Here are the 15-holiday card #organization ideas I used in the past and may use in the future.
15 Greeting Cards Organization Ideas
Hang them from a garland with clothespins. This is what I have done in the last few years. Check out the picture below.
A display in the entertainment center.
Tape it to your wall as a border around your family room.
Place them on the tree with hooks.
Tape on the back of the front door.
Make a wall Christmas tree with holiday cards.
Tape to a fireplace mantel far away from the fire.
A display on a wreath with a clothespin.
A display on a wireframe for ornament hooks that have clips.
Display on a colored 2-inch wide ribbon and hang on the back of a door.
A display on the staircase railing with tape.
A display on picture frame holders if they are really special and sturdy.

We are about to welcome our first grandbaby into the world (quite literally any day now) and I can't wait to see him dressed up in all the festive costumes!
I am also preparing now for the Holidays and next year in my business. We are laying out a clear path forward for next year, all the goals we want to hit and surpass!
I could not do any of that if I didn't plan ahead. I have a great support system in my business that makes all the difference.
I invest in experts. I am terrible about getting consistent chunks of content out, I am terrible at social media and I also need people to brainstorm ideas because creativity does not happen in a vacuum.
BUT, I am an expert at food photography! And as a bonus, the Holidays are my favorite time of year which makes shooting so much fun!
I want to be a part of supporting your business with my expertise.
To make it easy and get you planning your entire Holiday marketing, landing pages and newsletters out in advance, I have a 'Foodie Bundle' of 24 Holiday Images for you to download!
This allows you and your team to have photo assets on hand that will reach the right customers.
These photos are not meant to force you to make these specific meals or treats, these are meant to enhance your marketing designs and transform your perceived value.
I made a video that explains more. Check it out! Link in comments.

Part 2
When elders, in the heat of arguments, would end up giving oaths to each other. When wearing brand-new, shiny shoes bought for school to weddings wasn't considered anything less than a show of pride. When, during holidays, we didn’t go to hill stations, but to our mother’s home, returning with a treasure chest of memories for the coming year. When our teachers at school would point out not just our strengths, but also our weaknesses. That era was different, when yellow rice was a wedding tradition. When touching the water pitcher without washing hands was forbidden. When it was essential to sprinkle water on the terrace to cool down summer evenings. When cozy winter afternoons were spent knitting sweaters, with every stitch weaving a new story. When cutting nails at night was considered inauspicious, and sweeping in the evening was a bad omen. When it was necessary to apply kohl to a child’s eyes and a protective mark on their forehead. When bedtime stories from grandma and nanny were the norm. When cousins weren’t just cousins, but all were brothers and sisters. When there was no DJ, only the beats of the dholak resonated. Having a melodious voice wasn’t essential; singing bridal songs with full heart and soul was enough. When weddings didn’t have just one day of ladies' music; instead, songs were sung for 8 to 10 days.
When, in the scorching heat, we could drink glass after glass of ice for just 10 paise, yet never got a sore throat. When long train journeys without AC felt wonderful, accompanied by puri, potatoes, and pickle.

Engagement Season is upon us - time to celebrate, brides-to-be! 🥳
To ring in this season of love stories and new memories, we interviewed the experts on the Bon Bon Belle team to share their words of wisdom during this exciting time. Here is some advice from our Director Of Retail Stores, Callie Rogers:
“DIY projects can be super fun, but don’t assume they’re always cheaper—sometimes buying pre-made is just as budget-friendly (and way less stressful!). Even if you’re the ultimate planner, having a day-of coordinator is a game changer. They’ll handle all the moving parts while you focus on what really matters—getting married! Take the time to read vendor reviews. It’s the best way to get a feel for what to expect and avoid any unpleasant surprises. Connect with other brides! Groups like Wisconsin Brides on Facebook are full of advice, support, and even great deals. Speaking of deals, check out Facebook Marketplace for wedding decor. You’d be surprised how many people sell their entire wedding setup for a fraction of the cost. And here’s a money-saving hack: buying napkins can actually be cheaper than renting them. Who knew, right?”
