This film helps to shed light on many realities that those of us who are 'fighting the good fight' already know about our obsession with the purchase and eventual disposal of 'stuff', and the actual end of life of these products. Yes, there are scare tactics included in the content. But we all need to understand that we are all a part of the problem and the solution, and sometimes a little scare goes a long way. Sustainability is a mindset. Every. Buying. Decision. has an impact! Every transaction is a contributor to GHG emissions and moreover the introduction of contaminants into every aspect of our environment. Particularly timely as we head into the buying frenzy of 'Black Friday' and preparations for the holiday season. ♻️ On World Recycling Day we also celebrate a great achievement: Schulz Compressors is a Zero Waste to Landfill company. Do you know what that means? 🤔   🚮 It means that 100% of the waste generated in our production activity is sent for recycling — only 0.3%, coming from restrooms, is sent to the industrial landfill.   💡 For waste that cannot be conventionally recycled, we send it to co-processing facilities. This allows us to use them as replacements for non-renewable fuels and raw materials in energy generation and cement manufacturing. 🌱   💚 The Zero Waste to Landfill program demonstrates Schulz’s commitment to the environment.
