Important update for students applying for 2026 in the UK A personal statement is a crucial part of your university application, as it highlights your passion for the subject and outlines your long-term goals and vision. Beginning with the 2026 intake, UCAS will replace the single personal statement with a set of following essay prompts. These prompts are tailored to help applicants present course-specific information and emphasize key strengths in their profile. 1. Why do you want to study this course or subject? 2. How have your qualifications and studies helped you to prepare for this course or subject? 3. What else have you done to prepare outside of education, and why are these experiences useful?

A-Level Results Day - CLEARING ADVICE 1. Make sure you have written down your UCAS number, phone number, email etc! You might constantly be asked for these. 2. Make a list of courses or universities you want to apply to and write their clearing phone numbers down. This makes it easier on the day. 3. Call any university that you are remotely interested in - there is no limit on the amount of offers you can get from universities. 4. Most universities give you a few days before you have to make a decision. 5. Don't go through the process alone! It's very difficult and stressful. Try going through it with friends or family . 6. Don't accept a course, that doesn't seem right for you. Remember - sometimes, things happen for a reason. Have a think about what really interests you academically. Good luck everyone :) #student #university #alevel #resultsday #resultsday2024

𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭! 𝐘𝐞𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡.🥲 What happens during exams? Now I see why my school calls it a mid-semester exam. Because with the pressure, and the intensity of reading, one would think I'm preparing for the "main" examination. It’s easy to say the stakes are high, especially considering that my academic progress is at the forefront this semester. I’ve made numerous promises to myself—to do better this time around, to use my last result as a benchmark to surpass. In a way, I feel like I’m competing with myself😌. Yet, despite all this, I don’t feel fully ready. 𝐈𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭, 𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐈’𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭 “𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲” 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦. There's always that lingering doubt, no matter how much preparation I put in. For now, though, I need to focus on tackling this test the best I can and remind myself that this is just one step in the bigger picture. It's not just about this moment, but the progress I make along the way. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐩𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐢𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦!🥂 #academicexpectations

The Academic Journey! (Pt 1.) The academic journey is not as straight and easy as in primary and secondary levels of education. The journey becomes complicated as you are about gaining admission into the university , you have to choose from a whole lot of courses, which to study in the university, as you navigate through your undergraduate degree program. Boom! You finally gained admission. Congratulations👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I can imagine that joy on our faces and will be in the face of every freshman in the university. 😊 You finally began attending classes, you should have this in mind! At the University, you are not only expected to study hard (more is expected while you still stand as an academic giant), write exams and pass, No! If you should be this type, then you may end up joining the crowed to repeat the usual phrase we often get to hear, you know it right?! Here is it; "school na scam" You want to distinguish yourself and get to proof the statement wrong, even though it's wrong already?, then follow me below for some few tips I've gathered from a collection of experiences :::😁 Watch out for part two...
