Really interesting case about a Pre-Nuptial Agreement entered into by lawyers who did not seek independent advice and signed the agreement the day before the wedding. We would always advise clients that both parties must seek independent separate advice and sign the agreement (with financial disclosure attached) at least 28 days in advance of the wedding, and failing that the advice would be to enter into a Post Nuptial Agreement. However in this case, the Pre-Nuptial Agreement was upheld! The law is ever changing! An interesting read. #prenupitalagreements #postnupitalagreements
