Hiring top ERP implementation consultants in Europe can be a daunting task for SMB ERP Vendors. The demand for these professionals is high, but the supply is limited. This creates a competitive market where securing the best talent requires more than just offering a good salary. One of the main challenges is the varied regulatory landscape across the different European countries. Each country has its own set of employment laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. Navigating these complexities can be time-consuming and costly, especially for companies operating in multiple regions. Additionally, language barriers and cultural differences can further complicate the hiring process, making it essential to find ERP consultants who are not only skilled but also adaptable to diverse working environments. Another significant challenge is the rapid pace of technological advancements. ERP systems are constantly evolving, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and updates is crucial. SMB Software Vendors need consultants who are not only experienced but also continuously learning and adapting to new technologies. This requires a rigorous vetting process to ensure that the consultants have the necessary skills and knowledge to implement the latest ERP solutions effectively. At Newverus, we understand these challenges and are here to help you navigate them. With the constant drive of Software Vendors to move their clients to the cloud and grow market share in this time where software solutions are coming close to not being supported there is an emerging risk. Michelle Harvey is highlighting a real need which is growing the capabilities and skills of technical staff deploying the new sold solutions. Talking to a client side project manager a few days ago, he mentioned the software vendor project manager was managing 12-14 deployment projects. It makes me wonder how many technical staff Designers and architects are working on many projects at the same time. Whilst this shows a great sales outcome the scary part, dividing the technical staffs tme so thin makes me question the quality of being delivered for the customers

There is a curious paradox unfolding in Australia's ERP landscape. This paradox is 𝗘𝗥𝗣 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘃𝘀 𝗘𝗥𝗣 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆. While ERP Vendors are aggressively expanding their sales teams to capture new business, there is a critical shortage of skilled ERP consultants, and this is threatening to derail implementation efforts. This mismatch between sales capacity and delivery capability is creating a bottleneck that could have far-reaching consequences for businesses embracing digital transformation. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲 Most of the ERP Vendors seem to be on a hiring spree, with job postings for sales and business development roles flooding LinkedIn feeds daily. This push to acquire new customers is a positive sign of market growth and technological adoption across industries. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 However, I believe the real challenge lies in the scarcity of experienced ERP consultants who can bring these projects to fruition. The demand for qualified professionals, especially functional consultants who can navigate the complexities of ERP implementations is outstripping the current supply. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 There is a critical need for ERP Vendors to reassess their hiring priorities. While sales growth is important, it must be balanced with a robust strategy to develop and retain skilled implementation teams. It could be of benefit for the ERP Vendors to consider: ✅ Investing in effective comprehensive training and certification programs. ✅ Offering attractive career development paths for their consultants. ✅ Implementing mentorship programs to accelerate skill development. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 By focusing on building a strong foundation of skilled professionals, ERP Vendors will ensure they not only win new business but also deliver successful implementations that drive real value for their clients. This approach will lead to more sustainable growth and stronger, long-term client relationships. The ERP sector in Australia appears to be standing at a crossroads. The choices made today in balancing sales growth with project delivery capability will shape the industry's future and its ability to meet the evolving needs of businesses across the country. #erp #erpsales #erpsoftware #erpproject #erpconsultant #australia

Hiring Managers: Are you struggling to find the right permanent ERP resource? I see many companies in this predicament who let the work build up and then finally hire someone and it can be a 50/50 chance if it works out, between the candidate possibly overselling themselves/lacking skills, not being a fit within the company, or going AWOL. A high-level ERP consultant shared an idea that has worked multiple times for companies he has been part of projects with. Bring on a contract ERP consultant to handle the workload and identify internal resources that already fit within the culture and are committed to the company. This can help relieve issues with production and other parts of the business getting backed up and causing more problems as well as growing an internal resource who can work with the consultant to receive training and take on the permanent role in the future. Give this idea a try and save yourself the headache of finding the perfect permanent fit. If you need help identifying the right ERP consultants to help on a contract basis, feel free to reach out. #ERP #consultants #permanent #contractor #keepgoodemployees
