Giving Tuesday is coming, y'all. Which means year-end fundraising season is about to be in full swing. One question: do you have a plan to communicate with your donors online? I know direct mail plans are fully baked at this point, but there's always time to optimize your online communications. And the sad truth is that 40% of nonprofits don't send as much as a single email to their donors during the year-end season. If you want to see significant revenue come in to your organization before the new year, you have to make a plan to communicate. Don't be part of the 40% that ignores their donors. Thank them for their ongoing support. Share stories of impact with them. And plan to make a clear, unique, and compelling donation ask.

💡 3 Tips to Increase Your Year-End Appeal Donations! As the year-end approaches, it’s time to fine-tune your nonprofit’s strategy to maximize donations. Here are three tips to boost your year-end appeal: 1️⃣ Ask for an Increase Donors who have given in the past are some of your strongest supporters. When reaching out, ask them to increase their gift this year. Highlight how an extra contribution can make an even bigger impact on your programs and the people you serve! 2️⃣ Segment Your Appeals!!! Look at how donors gave last year and tailor your message based on their giving behavior. For example, if a donor gave through a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) last year, remind them how easy it is to do the same again. This personalized approach increases the likelihood of repeat gifts. 3️⃣ Create a Sense of Urgency Encourage donors to act now by emphasizing the time-sensitive nature of your appeal. Whether it's a match campaign or a critical funding gap, communicating urgency drives immediate action. Finish the year strong by engaging donors where it counts! 💥 #YearEndGiving #NonprofitFundraising #IncreaseDonations #FundraisingTips #KritConsulting

Eight days until Giving Tuesday emails start hitting your inbox. As a donor, are you ready? Here are a few tips to ensure your contributions have the greatest impact. 1️⃣ Identify what you care about: Get clear on your values, how you want to engage, and what you will prioritize this giving season. It will make saying yes even more worthwhile and meaningful. 2️⃣ Go bigger with smaller nonprofits: There are plenty of nonprofits to choose from, but smaller organizations are often overlooked. Support small local nonprofits that are poised to scale, but might not have the dollars to execute a splashy marketing campaign. 3️⃣ Consider a matching donation: Make your gift a matching donation, doubling the donations of other donors on Giving Tuesday. This helps the nonprofit diversify their support for long-term stability and doubles your impact. A win for you and for the nonprofit. #GivingTuesday #EffectivePhilanthropy
