Returning to Willowshade, even the blacksmith Harold brought a gift: a ruby-red stone he’d found by the river. And finally, Mr. Smith placed his most precious item—a faded photograph of his late wife—on the well. The photo seemed to warm the entire village, bringing back the glow that once defined Willowshade. Color began to spread through the cottages, the flowers, and the sky. Discover how this illuminated Willowshade below! A donation of $30 could help cover the cost of one day of meals for one inpatient. If you're so inclined... please consider supporting The Mindful Project for GivingTuesday. The Mindful Project teaches police officers, staff, and other public servants and counselors the tools they need to manage the stress they experience on and away from the job every day. You can contribute here or text code "MNDFL" to 44-321 https://lnkd.in/gHyMUF8F The Mindful Project
Friends, I am so happy to announce that we are $1000 shy of our goal of $5000 for @givingtuesday. Today’s the day! If giving is realistic for you this year, any amount matters to us as a baby nonprofit. Thanks for watching the videos this week! Much love to you and yours. Gratitudes. This is our beautiful teaching team at The Mindful Project. :) https://lnkd.in/gKQ8Tpz5

You may donate money to charitable organizations throughout the year, for no other reason than your heart-felt desire to support causes that you care about. But if philanthropy is important to you, keep in mind that the associated tax breaks could potentially increase your ability to give. You might consider a more strategic approach to charitable giving, possibly as part of your year-end tax planning. https://lnkd.in/gU_WBJC2

🌟 Homelessness Can Happen to Anyone—And It Looks Different for Everyone 🌟 When you hear the word homelessness, what comes to mind? A person sleeping on a sidewalk? That’s one experience, but it’s far from the full picture. Homelessness can also mean: 🏠 A family living out of their car. 🛋️ A teen couch-surfing to escape a toxic home. ⛺ Someone camping because affordable housing isn’t an option. 🏢 A person in a shelter rebuilding after losing everything. At Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center, we know that every story is unique. That’s why we offer tailored support to help people regain stability and independence. 💡 Here’s how you can make a difference: ➡️ Volunteer your time or skills. ➡️ Donate to nonprofits making an impact. ➡️ Learn & Share—Raise awareness about the realities of homelessness. ✨ Homelessness isn’t just about losing a home—it’s about losing stability. But together, we can help people find their footing again. Are you ready to join the effort? Let’s build a community where everyone has a place to call home. #HomelessnessAwareness #SupportNonprofits #CommunityMatters #EveryoneDeservesAHome
After moving to Austin to care for her mom, Josie & her daughters faced overwhelming barriers to housing. With nowhere else to go, they slept in their car until Sunrise helped them move home the day before Thanksgiving! This Christmas your gift can help families like Josie’s secure a safe, affordable home 💛 Plus, thanks to two $50K matches, your donation goes 3X further at https://lnkd.in/guM2pAte. #HomeStartsHere #SeasonOfBelonging
