Since starting working in high school, I always wanted to have my own business and to help others through it. 😊 I learned it hard way, by doing practice in different places like hotel, restaurant and tourism agency, a practice required by high school and that is not paid. At the tourism agency I stayed more than the practice period and the best thing is that I learned how to deal with customers and how to manage a booking so the clients can relax in their holiday. In the next years in which I worked as a Legal Counselor and HR consultant for different employers, I learned many things both about employees and employers and I have seen that motivation and performance of workers can affect both parties. So I wanted more and more to have my own business and to help other people in any way possible. That's how now I am not only helping companies to grow and learn what are their employee's needs, but I am also helping employees to fulfill their needs, to be motivated and to be happy at their jobs. it is a win-win situation. ✅ The relationship between employer and employees is very important and should be taken seriously by both parties. DM me or send an email to andreea@nextgenhr.ro, wherever your company is in this world, and let me help your company. #hr #hrbenefits #performance #employees #employer

Modern Recruitment Strategies in the Tourism Industry: Attracting and Retaining Top Talent The tourism sector is highly competitive, and attracting the right talent has become a key challenge. Modern employee recruitment strategies in tourism focus on innovative approaches that cater to the demands of candidates and the evolving labor market. One of the most effective strategies is creating an attractive workplace culture, emphasizing collaboration, equality, and growth opportunities. Employees value work-life balance, which can be achieved through flexible work arrangements, such as part-time roles or remote work for administrative staff. Investing in training and professional development programs offers a significant advantage. Not only does this attract talented professionals, but it also helps retain employees by offering opportunities for career advancement. Additionally, digital recruitment platforms and online interviews make it easier to find qualified staff with greater precision. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is another crucial factor. Job candidates increasingly value a company’s ethics, and businesses that promote sustainability and social responsibility are more attractive to potential employees. Furthermore, offering competitive salary packages and additional benefits, such as healthcare coverage and travel discounts, plays a vital role in attracting top talent. Overall, modern recruitment tactics in the tourism industry require flexibility, innovation, and adaptation to the needs of new generations of workers. By combining training, flexible working conditions, and a positive work culture, tourism businesses can secure the right talent for their growth and success.

I couldn’t agree more with your points. In my experience, employees’ decisions to leave often stem from these critical factors rather than the job itself. It’s essential for organizations to proactively address these issues to retain talent and foster a positive work environment. Addressing toxic culture, improving management practices, ensuring fair compensation, fostering connections, managing workloads, maintaining work/life balance, valuing employees, offering support, and providing career advancement opportunities are all crucial steps. If turnover rates are high, it’s indeed a sign that deeper issues need to be examined and resolved. No one deserves to work under such conditions, and any organization that values its employees and culture must prioritize these areas to maintain a healthy and productive workplace.

From my experience working in HR for 13 years.. People don’t quit jobs. They quit: ◾ Toxic culture ◾ Poor management ◾ Low compensation ◾ Lack of connection ◾ Excessive workload ◾ No work/life balance ◾ Feeling undervalued ◾ Not feeling supportive ◾ No career advancement No one deserves to work under these conditions. And if your employees are leaving, and you care about your culture... It’s time to figure out why. #MostafaYoussefHR #Dubai-#UAE #HRBP #PEOPLE_and_CULTURE_MANAGER #TALENT_ACQUISITION_MANAGER #EMPLOYEE_EXPERIENCE_MANAGER 🔔 If this resonates with you, please reshare and follow me Mostafa Youssef-PHRi™ for more content like this. 😊
