It is Anxiety Intervention Time Seasonal holiday stress and anxiety are common during the holiday season, often exacerbated by various personal, social, and environmental factors. Some causes are: 1. Financial pressures like gift-giving expenses and holiday activities 2. Social and Family Obligations as family dynamics, expectations and comparisons and overscheduling 3. Loneliness and Isolation and absence of loved ones 4. Changes in Routine, disruption of daily habits and overindulgence 5. Unrealistic Expectations as perfectionism and the pressure to be happy 6. Travel Stress 7. Holiday Blues and Seasonal Triggers 8. Health Concerns like Covid19 9. Lack of Time for Self-Care and self-neglect 10. End-of-Year Reflection and Resolutions and the pressure to engage. Recognize any of these?
