🤝 Meet the NHyRA Partners – Enagás Enagás is a Transmission System Operator (TSO) with 50 years' experience in the development, operation and maintenance of energy infrastructure. ✅ It has more than 12,000 kilometers of gas pipelines, three underground storage facilities and eight regasification plants ✅ Operates in seven countries: Spain, Mexico, Peru, Germany, Albania, Greece and Italy ✅ It is the Spanish Technical Manager of the Gas System ✅Enagás aims to become carbon neutral by 2040 decarbonising its activities and promoting renewable gases, especially hydrogen ️ 🗝 🗣️ Contribution to NHyRA: Enagas is involved in the data collection and gathering of the H2 emissions inventory by the development of quantification methodologies and identification of relevant technologies, providing technical support for the field campaigns and identifying mitigation strategies for the different emission sources.

Eni and #SOCAR sign agreements… Eni and Azerbaijan’s state energy company SOCAR have today signed three Memorandums of Understanding (MoU): The first MoU focused on the expansion of Eni and SOCAR’s cooperation on hydrocarbon exploration and production, with the aim of strengthening the energy security of #Europe, and Italy in particular. A second MoU envisages the cooperation of Eni and SOCAR to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve energy efficiency in the upstream sector in Azerbaijan, through the application of best available technologies.
