Does anyone else get super emotional about their team? Do you remember a couple of decades ago when being so open about feelings for your team were more frowned upon? As a leader, as a human, how can you not become so connected with a team? It gives us a connected force, a golden thread of super power between us. In my time across organisations, as a manager and leader, I have managed and supported people through deaths, suicide, marriage, transitions, adoption, crical illness, promotions, poor performance, high performance, qualifications, affairs and everything in between. Why? That’s life right? The best way I care for a team together is creating a culture that provides a bubble around us, allows us to feel like we can run through walls, that no matter how hard things get, we will get through it together. Its about creating special individual connections, with those that we vibe with, with those we don’t knowing that’s cool, we can still win together. So I am proud that we feel deeply, we laugh hard, we cry and we hug it out when needed. Feel the vibes, feel the love, all humans want at the end of the day is connection. Through this we can solve anything. #leadership #love #connect #team

❗ There have been many instances, where people mistook my kindness for weakness. But guess what? Kindness is NOT a weakness. 👉🏽 It’s a secret weapon for high performance. If you think kindness is about being "soft," think again. In the workplace, kindness is a strategic advantage — and it's one of the most underestimated forces behind individual and team success. 👉🏽 When kindness is part of your leadership and company culture, everything changes. 🔸 People feel safe to innovate, collaborate, and push themselves beyond what they thought possible. 🔹 Teams thrive on trust, and trust accelerates performance. Kindness doesn’t mean avoiding hard conversations or lowering standards — it means building environments where people feel ▪ Valued ▪ Respected ▪ Ready to give their best And when they do, the results speak for themselves. ❣ If you want to unlock real potential — for your people and your firm — start leading with kindness. 👉🏽 It’s not a weakness; it’s a strength that drives lasting success. What are you wiring your mind to notice today? The way you condition your mind shapes the reality you experience. Shift your perspective to spot success, encourage others, and bring out the best in every interaction. If you go through life expecting the worst, you'll see it everywhere. But if you choose to look for opportunities, kindness, and collaboration, you'll discover a world full of them. The same principle applies in your workplace and relationships—are you focused on mistakes or celebrating progress? #employeeengagement #companyculture #keynotespeaker #organizationalculture #organizationalleadership

"Sugar-coated" 🍬🚫 Ever met someone who seems too perfect? Always smiling, always positive, always ready to help? Be careful. They might be "sugar-coated." A sugar-coated person is like a candy that looks sweet on the outside but might be sour or even rotten on the inside. They hide their true feelings and intentions behind a facade of positivity. It's important to look beyond the surface and see people for who they truly are. Don't be fooled by a pretty package. Imagine meeting someone who always has a positive outlook and seems to have no flaws. While it's admirable, it might be a red flag. They could be hiding their true emotions behind a 'sugar-coated' exterior. PS :- Remember, it's okay to be cautious. Trust your instincts. Does humor and joy belong in the workplace? In a place where I will spend 8-10 waking hours leading, interacting, or collaborating with other humans, my answer is emphatically, unbreakable, and absolutely yes. Yes, yes, yes. I can not emphasize it enough. We humans are designed for joy. It's natural. It's necessary. Kids are silly, fun, and full of joy. Why can't adults be? The workplace, however, is professional. If 'professional' means somber, serious, and sourpuss, count me out. As a leader, it's my desire to bring joy, and hope, and encouragement - to lift others, to support them, and help them meet their potential. Not to crush their spirits with burdens of overperformance, or to hand them the weight of unbalanced expectations, or to expect them to have a personality that only ever displays the put-together the professional, and the perfect. No thanks. And bless your heart for thinking successful business has to be all of that mess to grow. So be joyful, please, y'all. It's ok. It's not unprofessional. It doesn't prevent success. It's refreshing. #choosejoy #servantleadership

Leading with love and empathy lets your teams know it is okay to be human. I remember earlier in my career feeling that I had to be “perfect” at work. But that is impossible and unrealistic. Look, people have good and bad days. A ton of things going on with each team member personally that you may know about or not. Listen, empathize, and support your teams. Don’t forget, you can lead in this empathetic way and still expect good communication, accountability and results. I guarantee if you lead this way.. it will help you tremendously with the retention and development of your teams. Remember your team members are human and have more than just work on their plates! #empathy #leadingwithlove #listening #support #behuman

Research shows that forced laughter—like those obligatory chuckles at your boss's groan-worthy puns—can actually be pretty draining. This “surface acting” leads to emotional exhaustion from pretending to be amused. Let’s face it, nobody wins in that scenario. While humor is a powerful tool, it’s just one piece of the leadership puzzle. Building an awesome work environment involves more than just cracking jokes; it’s about fostering genuine connections, clear communication, and a shared sense of purpose. When you get these right, laughter becomes a natural part of a happy, productive team. So, let’s shake things up a bit! Share your best (or worst!) office joke stories in the comments or on our page. Let’s lighten the mood, have a few laughs, and learn from each other’s hilarious (or cringe-worthy) moments! 😄 #OfficeHumor #WorkplaceWellbeing #TeamSpirit #Leadership #LaughAndLearn #NaughtyCoffee
