International Men’s Day celebrates inspirational men within our communities and a local Belfast man is the epitomes of what it means to be an inspiration. Aaron Brown sadly lost his brother to a heart attack, and around the same time, saw his mum battle through two heart attacks and a stroke. Despite going through such a difficult time, Aaron wanted to do something positive to help others affected by these illnesses and fundraised for our work after his mum received support from our team on her recovery journey. Read Aaron's story on our website. If you are inspired to take on the marathon as part of #TeamNICHS, visit nichs.org.uk/events

According to 2022 research by charity Marie Curie UK “More than half (53 percent) of people think not knowing how to talk about death is a factor in people feeling uncomfortable talking about death and dying.” But if we don’t feel comfortable talking about death and dying, how can we support people with their grief? It’s time to change this and I hope to be a contribution to that. Let’s bring the open conversations into our workplaces and organisations to better support our friends, families and colleagues. Grief Awareness & Support course from The PERFORM Experience ®️ and Mode for... releasing soon. #griefsupport #workplacewellbeing

Helping Others Brings Inner Peace 🕊️💖 Engaging in acts of kindness not only benefits those around you but can also enrich your own life, bringing a profound sense of inner peace and fulfillment. When we help others, we foster a deeper connection with the community and tap into a powerful source of joy and contentment. Here are some ways you can start: Volunteer: Give your time to a local charity or community organisation. Listen: Sometimes, simply offering an ear can be the most significant help you can provide. Perform Random Acts of Kindness: Small, unexpected gestures can make a big difference in someone's day. By making a positive impact on others' lives, you enhance your own emotional and spiritual well-being. If you're looking for more ways to help others and cultivate inner peace, visit www.asafkhancoaching.co.uk for ideas and support. #HelpingOthers #InnerPeace #ActsofKindness #CommunitySupport #AsafKhanCoaching

𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗭: 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀? Let’s play a little! 🙂 Read these sentences and try to identify which wound they refer to: 1 - Your partner asks you to do something you really don’t want to and you do it anyway for fear he/she might leave you ... 2 - You’ve just created an amazing new offer in minutes (almost as if you’ve downloaded it) but you don’t talk about it because you think no one will buy it. 3 - You have a job, you are a mother, you are head of the parents’ committee and you volunteer every weekend at a local charity. You wish you could do more. 4 - You don’t dare wear your favourite dress because it might catch the attention, and that doesn’t feel safe. Possible answers: A - The Love Wound B - The Deserving Wound C - The Acceptance Wound D - The Confidence Wound Answer (e.g.: A3, B1, C2, D4) in the comments! #womenempowerment #businesswoman #businesssuccess #confidence #successfulwoman #letsplay #selflove #leader #femaleleader #womeninleadership #leadership #manifesting #therapy #healing #game #selfworth #quiz #personaldevelopment #rapidtherapy #worthyofsuccess #risingwomen

I believe in helping others. I believe in charity. I believe in leaving the world a better place. I believe that those who work for charities are central to society, and the lives of the communities they serve. And I believe it’s important to look after those people. Which means that as well as caring about your work, you need to start by caring for yourself. By knowing what impacts on your wellbeing, what causes you stress, what motivates you & what makes you feel on top of the world. So it’s my job to help leaders know those triggers, recognise the warning signs, to use proactive tools to build their resilience and put their their self-care plans in place when it’s time to recharge. #thirdsector #ukcharity #seniorleaders #resilience #stress #burnout #selfcompassion #mentalhealthforleaders

𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳; 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝘀. Start small: volunteer at a local charity, mentor someone in need, or use your unique skills to serve others. In your workplace or business, lead with integrity, kindness, and a heart for others. 🙏 By showing up with love and purpose, you can inspire change and demonstrate what it means to live out your faith in action.
