When my last center transitioned to eChart, we saved a full-time front desk role (it was a role so hard to keep filled with someone competent), we saved hundreds in paper and labels each month, we saved time searching for documentation as it was all right there in the electronic chart. We saved hours a week performing chart audits because it's automatically done for you and creates tasks for missing items. Op notes were automatically uploaded to the chart once they were signed saving time manually tracking they came in. I can't say enough about it! I'm so disappointed that my new center is still using paper, but every chance I get, I try to change that.
