Hypocrisy is the evil of the West. Hypocrisy is the defining feature of many pseudo "experts" on war in #Ukraine and lovers of total war on #Russia. Condemn #Putin and do business with his puppet master, the dictator who keeps Russia economically and hates the West. #XiJinping, known genocidal, ruthless dictator. In expanding with his Belt and Road he has introduced something terrible into his vision that has to do with the ideology of race. Through the ruthless genocide of the #Uyghurs, he has set himself the most absurd of ends, that of shaping a new humanity: that of common destiny, with the superiority of the #Han race.

Today marks D-Day, a pivotal moment in modern history that we must never forget. On June 6, 1944, the Allies, led by the United States, assumed the monumental responsibility of standing up to hatred. They made it clear that Nazism and extreme ideologies have no place in our world, underscoring that freedom comes at a heavy price. The cost of liberating Europe from the Nazis and their collaborators was immense. The sacrifices made on D-Day were extraordinary, with over 4,400 Allied soldiers losing their lives on that single day. Over the course of World War II, an estimated 70-85 million people perished, including millions of Allied soldiers and countless civilians who endured the horrors of war to defend our freedom. In the 1930s, as hatred was on the rise, we failed to recognize the insidious spread of extreme ideologies within our societies. We hesitated to take the necessary actions to safeguard our freedom, waiting over a decade to respond. Each day of inaction made the eventual price we paid even greater. Today, we face a similar crossroads. Are we repeating the mistakes of our past by allowing dangerous ideologies to grow unchecked? The threats we face now come from various sources, including radical Islamism, radical wokism, and extremist movements on both the left and the right. What price will we pay in ten years if we fail to act now? Our democracies must begin to ask difficult questions and adopt strategic thinking, drawing lessons from our history to avoid repeating past mistakes. While I don’t have all the answers, I do know this: history tends to repeat itself, but perhaps this time, we can choose not to wait until the cost becomes too unbearable.

“The predator can always tell who is without protection.” - Dr. Gabor Mate BEAUTIFUL DREAM OF ISRAEL HAS BECOME A NIGHTMARE https://lnkd.in/gnieGD96 #stopthegenocide Historian Zach Foster - a former Zionist - says: "The more you study Palestinian history and Israeli history, the more pro-Palestinian you become. You can’t study the history of Zionism and not be horrified. It’s as simple as that. They don’t want you to understand the reality of the situation, which is that you have one of the most powerful states in the world, and one of the most powerless peoples in the world. The people with the power want you to think it’s complicated — that there are two equal sides here. There’s a long history of Palestinian nonviolent resistance. In almost every single case, the Israeli military resorts to disproportionate and indiscriminate violence in response." To understand the Israel-Palestine conflict, start with these two simple questions. Historian Zach Foster uncomplicates the long, tangled histories of Palestine, Israel and Zionism — and breaks down the biggest myths clouding the conversation. https://lnkd.in/g4QZpvzH

The Israel-Gaza War: The U.S. is Undermining its Long Term Interests. The consequences of the Treaty of Versailles and 75 Years of Western Imperialism in the Middle East has brought pain and suffering to many in the region. It can be argued that it is partly responsible for the rise of Islamic terrorism in recent memory. U.S. policy of a blind and unchecked support for the extremist government of Benjamin Netanhu will have a devastated impact on U.S. interest in the Middle East for the foreseeable future, at time when Russia and China are exerting influence and changing geo-political alliances. We cannot undue history as some "holy warriors" or racial nationalists would prefer. But we can work toward peace and justice. There is enough room (land) for both Jews and Palestinians, Christians or Muslims - all of God's children to live in peace and flourish. Using race or religion as the organizing principle on which to erect a modern nation and excludes others is incompatible with the American creed - that all men are created equal. Therefore, the ideology of establishing a " Jewish state", “Islamic State" or any political institution purely based on race should be categorically denounced and rejected. We need a new vision for the Middle East!

The role of the ROC and FECRIS in the Ukrainian conflict: deep processes and long-term strategies Part 3, continued What were the goals? Orthodoxy played a significant role in the post-Soviet territories and became an important instrument of influence and control even during the Soviet period. Since the beginning of 1943, when Stalin allowed the activities of the Russian Orthodox Church, it was formed with a new clergy, as the previous one was almost completely destroyed during the period of Bolshevik rule. The new spiritual leaders often were agents of the KGB. Given that the historical canonical Orthodox Church, existing from the time of the Baptism of Rus to the revolution of 1917, was virtually destroyed, it can be concluded that the modern ROC is a branch of the canonical Orthodox Church until the revolution. The purpose of such propaganda was to justify interference and create a hostile atmosphere that pushes for armed conflict. The use of religious arguments and the destabilization of social relations became key elements of a strategy aimed at strengthening Russia's influence in the region and creating prerequisites for further expansion. Revival of the KGB through the ROC Behind these exposures is a deep historical connection between the ROC and the KGB, starting from Soviet times. The revival of the ROC after the collapse of the Soviet Union strengthened it as a means to carry out intelligence missions and ensured the continuation of totalitarian thinking, which perceives any deviation from its doctrine as a threat. Conclusion The analysis of the role of FECRIS and its representatives, such as Alexander Dvorkin and Alexander Novopashin, opens eyes to the complex mechanisms of manipulation and information warfare, which have become an integral part of modern political reality. Their influence is not limited to Russia alone, but extends to the international level, including through organizations such as FECRIS. This is a reminder that behind political wars often lie deep and long-term strategies that need to be carefully analyzed and condemned in light of the protection of human rights and freedoms. https://lnkd.in/eaUrHy9s https://lnkd.in/esEmQQrg https://lnkd.in/ebrujRfM https://lnkd.in/eTAbtUwr #UkrainianConflict #DeepProcesses #LongTermStrategies #ROC #FECRIS #GeopoliticalAnalysis #ReligiousInfluence

Monotheism is about one God, but then how is the confusion? then where is the scope for doubt? narrative? so, imagine a company or autocratic country run by one person. what if all his men are the personas of the autocrat. so, no confusion. but, here why is so much fight among each other? everyone is God? what if the whole world gets to this? this confusion and defending themselves and even using terror and violence. who are the losers - humanity? this needs to end before the world begins again understanding the limitations of humans. work harmoniously towards peace and prosperity. nature is part of every religion and without fixing the morale and the foundation and uniting the world, the concept of sustainable solutions cannot be implemented. people find reasons to give their narrative and use religion and development and so on. read about agriterrorism and bioterrorism and some new radicalism. world has come this far and has given all the good reasons to unite and lay the right foundation for the future. the approach should be its our universe and we need to nurture and save it for the future generations. Iran There are widespread media reports that, last night, Israel struck sites in Syria, Iraq, and Iran. If those reports are correct, then the demonstration that Israel can target military threats deep in the territory of its adversaries is a necessary step toward rebuilding Israeli deterrence. Much is being made of the fact that, this morning, Iran seems to have downplayed the incident in its own media and signaled reluctance to respond. It’s impossible to know if that’s true, or how the inner circle of Iran’s leadership is processing its next maneuver. That’s one of the things I learned from the Iran expert Ray Takeyh in an April 15 briefing. As he pointed out, the ayatollah is surrounded by a new generation of advisors and counselors about whom not much is known. The video of that briefing can be seen here. The Passover seder In a few days, Jewish families will convene at their seder tables to recapitulate the drama of Jewish liberation from Egyptian oppression. At Mosaic, we’ve published a lot on the subject over the years, looking at everything from the moral and philosophical significance of the Israelites’ final night in Egypt to the archeological and historical records that give clues to whether the Exodus really happened. You can read our favorite Passover-related essays in a new e-book, available entirely free for our subscribers. Just click here and we’ll email it to you. Meanwhile, on our podcast this week, we bring you a lecture from Rabbi Meir Soloveichik. It’s the first lecture of an eight-part course in which he argues that the traditional text used to structure the Passover seder, the Haggadah, is in fact a work of rabbinic political thought: that it can be read as an analysis of fundamental political questions concerning the covenantal foundations of a people, the nature of law, the meaning of freedom, and much else. The entire course is available at MeirSoloveichik.com, and the first lecture can be found here. There is a moment during the seder in which participants, in remembrance of the sage Hillel, eat what we now think of as a sandwich made of matzah and bitter herbs. In his column this week, our language columnist Philologos investigates what in fact Hillel ate in the days of the Temple, and whether he is really responsible for sandwiches, both during Passover and throughout the year. One more note before the holiday. Over one hundred hostages remain in Gaza, though how many remain alive no one knows. We hope that they’ll soon join us in freedom—a freedom that comes, for us who enjoy it, with an obligation to prevent further acts of aggression against the Jewish people. Let us pray, in the words of the Psalms, that “the guardian of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps.” With every good wish, Jonathan Silver Editor, Mosaic Warren R. Stern Senior Fellow of Jewish Civilization

Someone asked me about leadership in the current world that I look up to. So I thought I will make a post. Well the man is Vladimir Putin. With some popular tweets I will describe why I like him. He is the leader of modern Russia having lead it to become a real power and bringing back multi-polarity (one of the Chief Architects). Without balance, world will be pretty dreadful. After Soviet Union collapse - Russia would have been balkanized like Middle East today is. But this man along with his countrymen did not let it happen. Did not let Western depravity which has even struck our country take roots in Russia. https://lnkd.in/gjZbWEXt Does not hate people even of enemy countries. https://lnkd.in/gkmH7b8P Stands up to the Western hegemony. There are very few leaders who stand-up to oppressors. There are reasons why Western elites hate him. https://lnkd.in/geYGehCM https://lnkd.in/g57Dffwb Really cool and patient (I wish I was more like Putin. Note he is not one of those cool guys I have seen in corporate world who are more hypocrites than cool.) https://lnkd.in/gB8w2mAu Follows his religion seriously (Orthodox Christianity) and respects other religions (whereas In West they have lot of freedom to burn Holy books) https://lnkd.in/gDDNkb4D https://lnkd.in/g__AgQpi https://lnkd.in/gCcS-rrT https://lnkd.in/gzQsFim4 Actually a Muslim force Akhmat from Chechnya fights alongside them and have played critical role right from SMO in Ukraine to apprehending the monsters of Crocus massacre done by ISIS. Here is Scott Ritter (former US Weapons inspector and Marine corp intelligence officer) addressing the same folks: https://lnkd.in/guA4vFK2 In the modern Godless world RELIGION IN ITS TRUEST SENSE will lead to: 1. a more compassionate individual and society, 2. more just world and 3. a society free of evils. And some trivia now. On a personal level, he has no airs and is very grounded man. Also very well rounded - some glimpse: https://lnkd.in/g5ucPjyC And may I say very natty and simple at the same time: https://lnkd.in/gjn68ATJ And simply charming: https://lnkd.in/gUMJ87r9 And great sense of humour: https://lnkd.in/gG4UX_3F No matter how much money a person has, very few people have an impact at global level like this man. I haven't seen a single billionaire in the world who can match up. Money is not everything! https://lnkd.in/gS3U--qn #Russia
