I'm overjoyed to discuss a recent turning point in my technological and innovative journey. At the esteemed Quasar 2.0 hackathon, I was awarded the Certificate of Merit, which is a testament to the many hours of coding, teamwork, and originality. This 24-hour mental marathon was a celebration of innovation and problem-solving in the agriculture industry as much as a competition. When we made it to the second round, I had the honour of working with really intelligent people as we pushed the envelope of what was conceivable. Our project's goal was to use technology to provide long-term solutions for agriculture, a sector that supports our society but also faces many obstacles . This appreciation is based on more than just a single accomplishment; it's based on the possibility of actually changing the world. I'm glad I was a part of this life-changing hackathon, which was a furnace where creative ideas were forged into workable solutions. I am incredibly appreciative of my classmates' encouragement, mentors' advice, and the chance Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan's College of Engineering gave me as I consider this accomplishment. This accreditation is more than just that—it's a lighthouse that guides future technological and innovative endeavours. Cheers to the next chapter, where each code word we produce and issue we resolve will take us one step closer to a more vibrant, sustainable future. In the face of adversity, I persist, forging forward with unyielding determination, knowing that victory awaits in the crucible of effort. #Hackathon #technology #TechEducation #developers #hackthespace #quasar #programming #Innovation

🌟 Introducing the VI Lab – A Step Towards the Future 🌟 What began as a small initiative of mine has now grown into a collective effort, supported by the dedicated contributions of SSG, MPTA, and PTA, along with many great-hearted individuals. At our aided school, which serves around 600 students from LKG to 4th standard, the vision behind the Vidyaposhini Intelligence Lab (VI Lab) is simple yet powerful: To enable young minds from our village to experience and embrace the future from the very basics. The VI Lab offers a unique blend of Edapt Technology Education Courses and an integrated library, introducing students to AI, robotics, coding, and more—laying the foundation for lifelong learning and innovation. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of doctors from my circle, (M)PTA, SSG and PTA members, and my friends. While I won’t mention names, my heartfelt prayers and gratitude are with each of you for believing in this dream and turning it into reality. Together, we’ve taken the first step toward empowering our next generation to thrive in the digital age. #EducationForAll #TechnologyEducation #VILab #FutureReadyKids #SocialInitiative

🏆 Thrilled to share that my team secured 1st place at MIT Open, TechTatva'24! 🏆 MIT Open, the flagship coding contest of TechTatva, pushed us through three intense rounds of competitive programming in the ACM-ICPC style. Despite having only two team members—myself and Pranav Mathur—we gave it our all: Round 1: An online HackerRank round where 40 teams qualified out of 200. Round 2 (2 Hours) : An offline challenge requiring teamwork like never before! One member on the keyboard, another at the screen, while the third solved a bonus question—except we had no third member! Yet, we solved 4/4 questions blind and ranked 2nd despite missing the bonus. Final Round (1 hour) : A thrilling head-to-head battle where we solved 3 out of 9 questions in a lockout-type round to claim victory. I’m incredibly proud of our teamwork and determination, and this win is a testament to our problem-solving abilities under pressure. A huge thanks to ACM Manipal for hosting this incredible event! #TechTatva24 #MITOpen #CompetitiveProgramming #CodingChallenge #ProblemSolving #Teamwork #ACM_ICPC

As 2024 comes to an end, I’ve had a chance to reflect on a year full of change and growth. I’m incredibly grateful for the people I’ve engaged with and the opportunities I’ve embraced, and I hope these experiences will continue into the new year. Here are some of the highlights: 1. I started my undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo, majoring in Computer Science. I’ve met students and professors alike who have inspired me with their brilliance, fostered my curiosity, and challenged my viewpoints. Though I’ve learned a lot about CS, math, and physics in my classes, I’ve also learned an incredible amount about leadership, full-stack development, networking, and even volleyball outside of classes from talented peers. 2. I organized hackathons in Chicago and Toronto, thanks to the support of Hack Club. I had the chance to organize the Solstice hackathon in Chicago, IL, as well as the Celestial hackathon in Toronto, ON, reaching hundreds of girls aged 10-17 and guiding them through writing their first lines of code! I worked with a talented team of girls, and with support from Hack Club, we were able to overcome budget, logistic, and technical challenges to deliver workshops in printed circuit boards (PCBs), 3D modelling, and video game development in Python and Java. Check out our website here: https://lnkd.in/g2i46M98. 3. I participated in my first hackathon, then many more! Along with Lily Song, Danya C., and Faith Tong, I built Optimyze, a web extension that encourages users to protect their eyes using the 20-20-20 rule. Our hard work paid off when we won third place, and you can check it out here: https://lnkd.in/gM-FmsSq. I also participated in Hack the Valley alongside Kabir Jain, Jalen Cheng, and Adam Selim, where we built EasyASL, a translation app that allowed users to learn, translate, and certify their skills in American Sign Language. We won best beginner hack - you can check out our Devpost here: https://lnkd.in/gJgDDnYq. I also had the privilege of leading a workshop on Printed Circuit Boards at Hack the North, teaching dozens of students the basics of PCB design and implementation. Though hardware is just a hobby for me, I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to inspire and learn alongside others. Last but not least, I wanted to thank some of the incredible mentors who have shaped my journey in both big and small ways – Nancy Lum-Wilson (C.Dir, CRM, MBA, B.Sc.Phm), Janice Liu, and of course countless others who have brought me one step closer to my goals. Here’s to making an even bigger splash in 2025!
